"My coworker and I called at 11:30 AM to order two lunch specials of penne alla vodka with chicken. When we arrived, the staff informed us that the total would be $38 for the two specials. We were taken aback, as each lunch special is priced at $12.95, making the total should have been around $25. The staff member then mentioned, “You didn’t specify that you wanted the lunch special over the phone.” We regret not walking out at that moment and will never spend our money on their food again."

"I went for a birthday dinner with family and the restaurant was very accomodating for our party of 14. We started off with the appitizer combo, which was a sampler of garlic bread, fried ravioli, fried shrimp poppers, and fried mozzarella with a side of tomato sauce. I had the pasta sampler, which had lasagna, manicotti, and fettuccine alfredo. I recommend this plate if you're indecisive like myself, but are in the mood for pasta. Others at my table had a variety of things, such as eggplant parmigiana, bacon and pepperoni pizza, chicken parmigiana, Mostaccioli, and supreme pizza just to name a few. My plate was absolutely delicious and plentiful, and I heard nothing but raving reviews from everyone else at the table about their plates as well. The only thing that everyone seemed to be disappointed in was the fact that they no longer have cupcakes from Baby Cakes"

So a small can do like 3 people for a good appetite to eat and large 5 people with big appetite. "The people are very nice but I would not come back I'm afraid.. I don't think they are really having quality control on the food coming out of the kitchen. The place was not busy and so maybe the quality of ingredients are not the best. The salad could feed 5 people.. Caesar you can't really take home. There is usually a bread service to go with Italian. That was missed. Then finally the dishes were so cold my wife's food felt like it was take from the fridge it was so cold. I had the beef short rib and it was just warm. The pasta was ice cold and watery and the sauce was room temperature and jelly like. The chicken was the only hot thing but it was burnt. My mashed potato's were so cold like they were taken from the fridge reheated and then sat for a while. Plus large pieces of potato and another tell tale sign was watery and not creamy. My short rib was also cold and when I had them take it back I waited forever. The sauce was split and not fresh either.. When it finally came back it still wasn't hot but room temp. The waitress was awesome and people like I said were nice but the food quality I give it a one star and the service brings it up to two stars. Sad to see but in Mandeville it's hard to have a great restaurant because there just isn't enough people dining out. So I hope they can make changes for the better and make food better.."

"Not all Filippi’s pizza are the same. Apparently this location is the best as far as food and atmosphere. They have the formal dining room and lounge area with the bar if you want to chill. A lot of the locals come here to hang out. Did you know that they have a secret menu? We ordered from the regular menu. We got wings, ravioli and lasagna. Both the ravioli and lasagna had the same sauce. I wouldn’t order that combo again. The wings were dry rub, large, and juicy. We didn’t find the food to be that great but the atmosphere was the place to be that evening. We will for sure be back to join the locals and order spicer wings."

"Deceived, betrayed, and utterly disappointed that's how I felt when I realized the local pizza place I had ordered from was nothing but a wolf in sheep's clothing. "We were late for our reservation, but Chuck's kindly held the table for us. Tableside Caesar salad was amazing. Our mains were bit of a wait, but before we could complain, our server apologized and they appeared shortly after. Amazing food and portions were well suited. Our steaks were perfectly done! Due to the small delay in our mains, manager sent over a sinful skor Sundae that although we were much too full for, we devoured. Excellent service and kudos to management for staying on top of service."

"Food....lots of food! Everything is served family style so come with 3-5 people. We went with just 2 of us and had leftovers. The food was delicious. Our waitresses was very nice. "It was our first time there. My one year old grandaughter, my daughter-in-law, and myself. Then the lady said quite a personality this man has … i was like yeah he’s full of no’s today i asked to use the bathroom he said “no we don’t have bathroom “ which didn’t make sense cuz they have a seating area so legally they are supposed to have a bathroom she said they do have a bathroom. so i told the man the lady said you do have a bathroom he goes yeah but no it’s not working . i left my food right there and walked out. the service was disgusting food didn’t even look good and the man’s attitude i cannot take no personality just full of no’s."

"Exceptional thin crust pizza. Truly one of the best I’ve had in my life. You can tell they use real, fresh ingredients and prepare everything with love. The Margherita/Classica pizza was amazing. I think it’s closer to Italian pizza than New York style, so just consider that. The only thing was the Caesar salad was disappointing, but the Arancini was amazing. Just an overall great place for thin crust pizza. Not too expensive either: $25 for a large Margherita and it’s well worth it."
