"Came in to have a nice meal with my husband and unfortunately the man at the front desk was too busy to be bothered to seat us, doing nothing. We had to wait for Tony, and when he finally came over after several minutes of waiting, he took the people that came in as he was walking up to us and decided to bypass us and seat them first instead. Poor service. Terrible owners, disgusting atmosphere, neighborhood is scary and I would be afraid to go there alone for fear of being killed. Good luck to anyone that enters this establishment!!"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to get bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"I like the food but I recognize that it's really not very special and I could see how real foodies would find it too boring. What's especially disappointing is the service. For example, our booth was only set for 2 people but there were 3 in the party. They plopped the components of the extra placesetting in a pile at the end of the table and that was it. We had to put out the plate, silverware, and napkin and move them to the proper spot on the table. This is just indicative of the level of service we usually receive here (I've come here about 5 times). It's convenient so I come back but the service is pretty poor."
