"My wife and I love to eat here because of the quality and authenticity of the food. We just moved to the area and have not had one single meal here that we did not absolutely love. All the Chinese is perfectly authentic, as is the Thai and Japanese and it's hard to believe that they got it all right in the same place, but they did. We write a lot of reviews on here and we strongly encourage you to give them a try because you'll always go back. Also, the prices are modest enough to lend themselves to take out via door dash or similar. We love to dine in, but when we can't, we take out! If you give this place a try, we believe you'll be loyal customers just like us. It's just great :"

"While a mandatory 10% tip added to the bill would have made sense (since you can tip more if the service is good), the automatic 18% tip felt excessive, especially since the service beyond the waitress was minimal and the prices were high. Additionally, the lobster tails were the smallest I've ever encountered, making them not worth the money. Overall, I regret coming here and don’t plan to return. Maybe it was just the time of year, but I doubt it. Given how much I paid, I don’t want to risk trying again. Also, if you pay with two different cards or a card and cash, they apply the mandatory tip twice, which can end up being around 30%."

"The space is very small, but it worked well for us; however, we did have to take our youngest out. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. My 10-year-old son absolutely loves the chicken fried rice, and the portions are generous. The others ordered various rolls, and I tried the rainbow roll, which was also good. Overall, we highly recommend PJ Sushi."

"This small, no-frills restaurant is a great option for grabbing a quick and affordable meal late at night. Ordering online is simple and the food is always ready within 20 minutes. They excel at making simple dishes like quesadillas, hamburgers, and salads, perfect for those who don't feel like cooking. While their pizzas and calzones are decent, they could use more cheese and toppings. I would not recommend the fried ravioli or desserts as they seem to be store-bought items. The staff is efficient, friendly, and courteous, making for a pleasant dining experience."

"New York's hottest new little sushi bar on 51st st is Tanaka Sushi. They have some really creative and delicious house rolls like the banana roll with tempura banana (what else) and spicy tuna. Theres the 2006 roll (no idea why that year) with black pepper tuna, avocado, and roe...it's pepperific. There's also midgets, Dr. Doolittles, pet giraffes and sneezing lots of sneezing. So head to tanaka sushi it's the place to see and be seen eating sushi on 51st street."

"I visited for lunch, so this might not be a complete representation of the experience. The restaurant is a nice, quiet spot that stays open late and offers plenty of rolls and BBQ choices. The service was excellent, and the food was great. The only reason I wouldn't rate it five stars is that, when comparing it to similarly priced sushi places, the portion size is a bit lacking. I will definitely return, but it probably won't become my first choice."

"Took the family for dinner. Between the four of us we had Yakisoba noodles, kalbi, bulgogi, and chicken katsu. Food was really good with just a few exceptions. Portions for the kalbi and bulgogi were small. The shaved beef used to make the bulgogi was so thin that the sweet sauce was all you really tasted, not the beef. Our biggest complaint was that they had the doors that led into the mall wide open. Wasabi is at the entrance to the mall and a lot of cold air was coming in. Had my jacket on entire meal. A lot of others in other booths did the same. Service was great."

"2022.05.22 — Had a great lunch at Rice N Roll Bistro. It has a limited space inside. The sushi bar has stools and purse hangars which is nice. Nice modern decor inside. Our group ordered the spicy edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad, and house salad with ginger dressing. All of which were delicious. Particularly fond of the spicy edamame myself. No surprises with the starters and all tasty. We ordered a nice big plate of sushi rolls. Had a spicy tuna and rainbow roll as basic go to’s. Good fresh tasty ingredients. The real fun was the signature rolls. Ordered the Dragon, East Town Monster, Dancing on the Moon, and Lake Front signature rolls as the main treats. My personal favorite was the Dragon roll. The shrimp tempura middle gives good texture and crunch. Decided to finish with some deserts. Chocolate mousse cake and the seasonal mango sticky rice. Between the small space, courteous staff, modern decor and the great sushi it’s a great place for your favorite Asian cuisine. Give it a try. You will find a new favorite sushi place for your friends and family to enjoy."

"This cozy little sushi spot is right on the main drag in Ann Arbor. We went on a Friday and it was absolutely packed. Although we waited at least 10 minutes at the front of the line before the hostess made eye contact with us, the service was pretty quick once we were seated. Prepare to be patient waiting for a table.Because it is basically in the middle of campus, it's alive with students, and fun place to be on the weekend if you don't mind the lively conversations. The sushi was fresh and expertly made. Miso soup and hot tea are both complimentary, which is a plus. Overall, we had a great experience here."
