"Another issue I've encountered is the unavailability of mochi, one of their desserts. Even though it’s listed on the menu, I’ve been there enough times to count that they’ve never had it. If you can’t keep it in stock, either remove it from the menu or at least note its unavailability.
So why do I rate the restaurant three stars? First, the ambiance at Saba's is genuinely pleasant; it’s well-decorated and creates a comfortable yet slightly upscale atmosphere. Second, the food, while not great, is decent. The third star goes to the friendly service; it's not easy to find good service these days.
However, I do have a complaint about their inconsistent water service. Depending on your server, you might or might not get water. Regular tap water isn’t offered unless you opt for bottled. My dining partner and I were told several times that we wouldn't be served water, despite being paying customers who typically spent $30–$50+ on our meals, and even though we had been served water in the same spot before.
Overall, my experience at Saba's has been mixed. I don't think I’ll be returning, as I've tried enough times and found more cost-effective dining options that offer greater satisfaction. Ultimately, I don't feel like I get my money's worth at Saba's."
