"Food was good. Aaron was entertaining. Our server was new and it was a big opportunity for improvement. Our food was missed our drinks took longer than it probably should have. We were late to be seated on a Monday night so we didn't eat until almost 9 pm for a reservation at 7:3-7:45. My kids were passed out and barely ate. We were celebrating a birthday. We made the most of it. The check took forever because we were a larger group and the bill wasn't rendered correctly. To be fair the server said it was his first night out of training and we thought he was joking, but it showed. No managerial presence until the end when we were walking out."

"It was a great experience! Loved our very nice and professional server and our chef was great the food was DELICIOUS!! We had a wonderful time all made possible by everyone we encountered from reservation making to arrival at the restaurant all the way through the evening. We had a perfect time! They helped make my daughter’s birthday dinner a great success!! Not bad thing to say about any of it!! We’ve celebrated every birthday for my daughter at Benihanas for quite a number of years, it’s her traditional birthday wish and her favorite place to go for any celebration, so we know Benihana and this location with this particular Chef is one of our favorites. He is excellent! Our servers are sometimes hit or miss but our server last night was awesome!! Great job to the management for having such exceptional staff"

"Even with a reservation we waited almost 30 minutes after our reservation time. Once we were seated we waited another 30 minutes before our chef arrived. Our server was great I wish I remembered his name. Chef Lee was not my favorite. Although it was a birthday party for my 20 year old kids they look forward to the fun of the meal presentation and it was very much lacking. We actually watched other tables for the show. We come here every year for their birthday for the past 7 years and this year it was disappointing."

"We went on a Sunday at around 4:45 pm, and the restaurant was completely empty except for us. Nonetheless, the server (the ONLY server) took a while to come take our orders. The server gave our 1 year old and 3 year old kids glass cups of ice water, and I had to ask for straws. These cups did not have lids. I asked for my kids to share one pork katsu special from their whiteboard, but they served two instead. This whiteboard didn't even list what the prices were. Thankfully they did not charge us for two, but it took an extremely long time of waiting for the server to come back to check on us. They never came back with a receipt, so I had to get up and ring a bell and wait for a receipt. There are signs posted everywhere about how short-staffed they are, and how you can kindly leave if you don't want to wait. I considered leaving without paying for our meal. I thought that would be horrible and decided to wait even longer. Finally a person came to ring me out but they didn't even tell me the total or give me a breakdown of the receipt before taking my card and charging me. All the while, I was asking for the total, and he just said he would give me money back if it's wrong.Overall, the service and atmosphere are really bad, 1/5. However, the food was decent and would be a 4/5 for the sushi and a 3/5 for the hot foods/appetizers we ordered. The prices are pretty high for the overall experience. Not kid-friendly."

"Benihana is one of my favorite places to go! We were here celebrating a birthday for one of our team members and we were visiting from Texas! It's so nice to know that we can go in even from out of town and still get the same great service across the board! The staff and chefs were amazing! "This place is always fun and entertaining. We always choose to sit for the teppanyaki grill. Entertainment is always an ice breaker especially when sitting with strangers. The very first time I ate at benihana's was in California during a school trip back in 1999. I was impressed with all the celebrities on their wall. I thought wow how cool would it be to see a celebrity while I was dining there but no such luck. The next time I dined at Benihana's was in Las Vegas. The ambiance and the decorations was eye-catching and I remember using a flash disposable camera to take pictures. Hahaha ... I should dig these pics up and share them here. Awe the memories. We had a chef that was new to the grill and shared his story that he started out ad a dishwasher, then prep, and then line cook and now he's on the floor cooking for customers. We clapped for him and we wished him the best as he continues to gain experience. He does have dreams but I will keep them to myself because saying something might cause a problem for him. I will respect him this way because I want him to succeed. I dine here maybe 3 times a year ... one for my birthday ???? because they offer a birthday coupon. The other 2 is unplanned with friends or just because. Lunch was delicious ????. I ordered from the lunch menu. The duet where you choose 2 items and I chose yakisoba and julienne steak with chicken fried rice. ???? Happy dining ????"

"For being the OG of hibachi I expected so much more. I had the hibachi chicken which was served with 3 small shrimp that were cut in pieces, soup and salad, one piece of zucchini and some onions. Chicken was fine, not great. Husband had the Emperor’s Feast and the filet portion was flavorful but over cooked. His came as a 6 course meal including ice cream but our server argued with us that it was not included and tried to charge us another $5 for a small scoop. Finally we had her pull out the menu and showed her it was included and her response was ok I won’t charge you. The decor is very minimal and can certainly use to be updated. Martini was decent but small for the price. Final review glad I went there once but not likely to return."

"Absolute worst experience at ANY restaurant I’ve ever had in my entire life! And I’m a foodie dine out a lot so I know what I’m talking about! For starters our reservation was at 7:15pm- we got there early, long story short we didn’t get seated until an hour later! Apparently they only had 2 servers for the entire restaurant 1 bar tender…the bathroom was horrendous and disgusting!! I was appalled. If the health department had made a visit that day I guarantee the location would be shut down! Then we get to our table and wait ANOTHER 30 minutes only to find out there were 4… yes 4 OTHER tables in front of us that had been sitting for over 40 minutes waiting on one of the only two servers chefs they had in the restaurant. By this point it’s almost 9pm we’d only just been sat at our table- not an ounce to drink, not greeted or anything. Nothing. I’ll NEVER go to this location again it made me seriously question the corporate operations of this company as a whole. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!"

"We visited this restaurant to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, and the chef was not only talented but also entertaining. They even sang for her and served ice cream, which made the celebration extra special. They took a family photo for us and printed it out right there, which was a nice gesture. There was also a code on the photo that allowed us to download it from their website. While the food was a bit pricey, we ordered everything that sounded tempting without checking the prices first, which made for a surprising bill at the end! We will definitely return, but given the costs, it will be for special occasions only."

"Absolutely disappointed and disgusted with Beninhana...I ordered $211 worth of food today on MOTHER'S DAY directly from Beninhana NO middle service but from Beninhana... Completely messed up our order and sent us a $67 order instead. When called and asked about the mess up, the guy says will refund you. I said that's nice but what about the dinner I ordered? Are you gonna bring us our correct order? He repeats no no will refund you and hangs up. First off, how do I know I'm getting refunded correctly when your hanging up in my face 2. Someone that spent $67 got $211 worth of food 3. but 3 and most importantly.... WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO ABOUT DINNER FOR MY MOTHER and family ON MOTHER'S DAY... i get mistakes happen but to spend $211 and on mother's day and to get treated with such disrespect AND left with no food on such a day is unbelievable and completely disgusting on your guy's behalf ???????????????????????????????????????? "One of my go to spots. I just recently learned it's best to go after lunch and before dinner. We were able to walk in without a long wait and had a good view. We ordered the following items 1. Pan fried gyoza dumpling so tasty. It was crunchy in the outside but so soft on it inside. 2. Lobster roll I've never had this before but wasn't sure to expect. It was a lobster tempura lightly battered. It did not lose its flavor or texture from being fried. I love that there was a lobster roll and 2 hand rolls. Definitely worth it. This alone and the gyoza was filling enough. 3. Ribeye and lobster with 2 chicken fried rice I always order this because I can eat now and have some for later when I get home. Ribeye is tender and juicy. Lobster is the perfect partner to compliment the meal. 3. Ribeye and colossal shrimp with 2 chicken fried rice Sure when it's cut up it looks tiny but it's so flavorful. Honestly, there is nothing here this I've ever tried that I didn't like."

"I visited the restaurant for an early Father's Day dinner on a Saturday at around 7:30 PM. Parking was available through valet for $6.50, but free street parking was an option. Our party had 6 people, including 2 children. The environment was busy and loud, so reservations are recommended. Not many TVs were present, but the bathroom was clean. The service was great, with a fun cooking show from the chef involving a pumping heart with the fried rice and a choo choo train with the onions. The staff was friendly and attentive. I ordered the deluxe treat, which included filet and lobster tail with fried rice (extra egg), along with a Benihana punch. The steak was cooked medium and the fried rice was delicious. There was enough food for leftovers the next day, including the tasty miso soup. The total cost was $540 with tip."

"My wife and daughter have celiacs disease and have gotten sick from cross contamination at the grill so they always request to have their meal cooked in the back when we visit Benihana. Most of the time this process is seamless, however, the last two times that we visited Benihana this proved to be difficult. Last night we were celebrating my wife's birthday and apparently our server did not know that anyone needed to be notified about the meal being cooked in the kitchen. When our cook came out he was not made aware that two of our meals were requested to be made in that back and he advised the server that he needed to inform the kitchen. We had a feeling that this would cause a problem and unfortunately we were correct. My wife and daughter sat there and watched the rest of us eat for 15 minutes before I finally contacted a manager regarding the issue. As the manager was looking into the issue their food finally arrived. It really was a disappointing experience for my wife who was celebrating her birthday. This really isn't what we expected from a $220 meal."

"Worst. Hibachi. Experience. Ever. Food was subpar. Service was even worse. The so-called “chef” seems to not not have enough experience. She didn’t do much of the cooking show, wasn’t very enthusiastic, but worse, the way she cooked clearly showed she wasn’t adept. The server, barely came back to service us. She was there to get the order, bring the drinks/appetizers, and then getting the check. Those were it. The food…I know this is the midwest and not a swanky Manhattan eatery but come on…all appetizers were inedible. We literally tried a few piece and then stopped eating. The main hibachi courses were a meh. Not coming back here ever. We don’t recommend this place."

"Some sale items at various stores were not to bad. Overall pricing would be average. Not a place to find Barton or clearance items. Santa is there taking distant pictures. Be prepared to walk. The mall does not offer any seating at this time. No place to rest and catch your breath while hitting all the stores. They do have ample parking. Some of your major stores and chain specialty stores. Along with one off unique stores. 2nd level is accessible by stairs, escalators and elevator."

"We encountered significant delays during our visit to the restaurant. With only three chefs on duty, we were left waiting for over 40 minutes before anyone informed us about our table situation. We were told that our food would be ready in 10 minutes, but after waiting another 30 minutes, most of us ended up leaving. To make matters worse, the table next to us, which had a reservation for 1 PM, didn't start receiving their food until 3 PM. A heads-up about the delays would have been appreciated so we wouldn’t have had to spend an hour and 20 minutes sitting there without any updates."
