"Our first time eating at Yuzu Kitchen. There are a few tables up front near the entrance and a long row of tables inside across from the bar. We all decide to try their Ramen. I forgot to take an photos. I had the Sukiyaki Ramen. It had a very tasty beef flavor with vegetable and mushrooms. I liked it a lot. My daughter had the Yuzu's Shio. It was pork in a slightly spicy broth which tasted like Sriracha. Ok flavor if you like things a bit spicy. My wife had the Shoyu Tare. It had pork with a somewhat milder broth. Not bad but not as good as mine tasted. We also tried one of their stir fry dishes. We got the mixed protein with the Yuzu Special sauce. All of the meats and shrimp were very tender. The sauce was slightly sweet and sticky and very enjoyable. We had a pot of the Jasmine tea which was also very tasty with a lightly sweet floral flavor. After dinner we tried a flight of Japanese whisky. They make the choices for you from a variety of styles and price ranges. A bit expensive $35 for 3 one-ounce tasters, but individual pours would have been even more expensive. Not quite the great experience I was hoping for but still enjoyable none the less. The biggest turn off of the whole meal wasn't the food nor the service, which were both good, but the ambiance. From the time we stepped into the restaurant until we left, they had Rap and Hip Hop playing over the speaker system. It was a little distracting and not the kind of music I would have expected from a nice Japanese restaurant. I'd go back again to try some different styles of stir fry or Ramen. Overall we had a good meal and enjoyed the experience."

"This place has a great setting with a very nice chill atmosphere. The interior has lots of dark wood makes for a calming effect (for me at least). On Saturday 8pm, there were available tables and it never felt packed or uncomfortable. We hit the tapas hard. Mini salads, panzu butter scallops, chicken karaage, spicy edamame, cucumber salad, takoyaki, dynamite shrimp, and the kamonegi duck. I enjoyed the salad, my friend was not a fan of the dressing...I could have used more, and there were a few wilted greens in mine that I removed. Insert sad face here. The scallops were really tasty, would order those again for sure... nice to see them come out on the shell instead of fully manicured. Good flavor very tender. Next, a personal favorite of mine, the Karaage chicken. I get this every time I see it available. Here, the batter was thin really crisp (on point), and the chicken was so moist. As a dry version with the sauce on the side, near perfection. The dipping sauce was small, but honestly not really even needed in my opinion. The spicy edamame is a go to as well, and my friend was very excited even though she doesn't really do spicy. She thought it was really good, but it was above her heat level by a few steps she instantly asked me if they had milk available ???? ???? ...I, on the other hand thought it was really good devoured all of it after my friend called it quits due to the 4 alarm fire in her mouth. Caution if you have a sensitivity to spicy awesomeness. If you do have an aversion to spicy... or just want something refreshing light... the cucumber salad is where it's at! This was a great balancer of the spicy also served as a palate cleanser. It was very good complimented all the other flavors nicely. The takoyaki is also something I always get whenever available. I did enjoy them, but I believe the ratio of ingredients could have been better. Each ball was cooked well had the pillowy softness of the dough when biting into it, but"

"We just got our house built in the area and this is hands down our FAVORITE RAMEN PLACE. Let me tell you something. Everywhere we go, me and my husband always make it point to find the best ramen place. We know the best ramen to go in Washington, Maryland etc. and thank god for Ichiban. I would have never been ok to move here if there is no authentic ramen. ?Authentic? for me is all about the good broth. And this place have it!! Date night and celebration days willalways be ICHIBAN dates! My favorite ramen: ?chashu? with spicy sauce on the side. My husband Evan always gets the chashu ramen with extra tonkatsu (great marinade and soft!!! . The ?shoyu? ramen is really good too! I love love love theirAPPETIZERS!! My favorite is: takoyakiii!! Nothing beats their takoyaki and potato mochi!! The sushi... oh the sushi. I honestly think everybody should try their sushis! We always get a take home sushi no matter how full we are! Lol Mayneed improvement: ?beef ramen? (beef was shredded and bulgogi type so the marinade is too sweet for me and I would like it better if it is with beef slices ? the beef bulgogi with rice is really goooooood thoughhh , ?kimchi ramen? (I lovelove love the broth but not a fan of the spam and sausage that comes with it , ?tempura? (it only had 2 shrimps but the breading was great! . TIP: I love spicy! But I want to control it based on my taste, where I can still enjoy the yummybroth so I order ?spicy sauce on the side?. I LOVE THE SERVICE! Pretty fast and everybody wears the mask and I feel pretty safe whenever we go here. Honestly, this place reminds me of how a real ramen should always be. Thank you ICHIBAN!!!I have recommended this place to everyone we know, took our friends and family on this place and every time We were proud. We will be back soon lol maybe tomorrow again."

"I recently had the pleasure of enjoying lunch at Ramen Taka, and it was quite a delightful experience. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find that there was no wait, and we were promptly seated, which is always a plus when you're hungry and craving some delicious ramen. We decided to start with their miso ramen, and I must say it was a flavorful journey for the taste buds. The broth had a deep, rich flavor that was undeniably enjoyable. However, for our personal taste, it was just a tad on the salty side. The balance between saltiness and umami was slightly skewed towards saltiness, which might not suit everyone's palate. One unique aspect of Ramen Taka is their use of digital menus on your phone. While this adds a modern touch to the dining experience, it can be a little challenging if you're used to the traditional printed menus. It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's a step towards embracing technology in the restaurant industry. One interesting feature I appreciated was the availability of two different sizes for the ramen bowls. This allows diners to choose according to their appetite, which is a thoughtful touch. In terms of logistics, the parking is situated at the back of the store, which can be convenient for those arriving by car. The staff at Ramen Taka were friendly and accommodating, which enhanced our overall dining experience. In conclusion, Ramen Taka offers a satisfying ramen experience with a few quirks. The miso ramen, while delicious, leaned towards being slightly saltier than our preference. The digital menu system might take a bit of getting used to, but it adds a modern twist to the dining experience. If you're in the mood for ramen and don't mind a slightly saltier broth, Ramen Taka is worth a visit, especially if you appreciate the convenience of different bowl sizes and friendly service."

"My only minor complaint is that when I ordered the tomato ramen, I didn't expect the cauliflower to be included. I'll ask them to leave it out next time. Overall, though, this place is a winner in my opinion. In my previous review from August 7, 2017, I praised Orenchi Beyond for their vegan ramen. I wrote that they really live up to the promise of serving delicious vegan ramen. Thank you for that! When I first saw their version, I was skeptical because it seemed to have a soy-based broth and didn't look creamy, unlike some vegan ramens from other restaurants. It also had eggplant, which isn’t my favorite vegetable (yes, I'm a picky vegan!). However, I've been enjoying ramen so much lately that I don't always want something rich and creamy, so this was a refreshing option. Plus, I was relieved to find that I could ask for the eggplant to be left out and still enjoy a bowl filled with other vegetables like cauliflower, tomatoes, and peppers. The noodles used were rice noodles, which I think was a smart choice. The broth was well-seasoned, and I appreciated the option to add garlic from a jar on the table. If you like it spicy (which I do), be cautious with the spicy paste, as I learned it contains fish. They do have some spices available on the table, or you can bring your own vegan hot sauce or chili pepper (I'm always open to suggestions!). Honestly, the broth is great even without added spice."
