"It was quite lively on a Sunday night, with only a few tables available. We stopped by for a late dinner and some cocktails. The Japanese margarita and pomegranate martini were both delicious. They offered a nice selection of fish, and the sushi was very fresh. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that the service was a bit slow. Even after the restaurant quieted down, we had to wait a long time for our server to come to us, which made us decide against ordering some things we had wanted."

"amazing views from the rooftop, you can’t really get that at any other restaurant in this area. Drinks were amazing the first time I came, second time they were alright. Menu is a little overpriced for the quality of food but the servers were very nice and attentive. I would definitely come back if I just wanted drinks and sushi. Pad thai was not what I was used to, the sauce is definitely different than what I was used to. I would recommend any of the sushi rolls, I got the spicy tuna roll with crunch and i had to order another, that’s how good it was. I would place this restaurant as one of my top places for sushi, drinks views."

"All around enjoyable restaurant. The interior has a cozy vibe, but due to the high ceilings doesn't feel small; feels like a mom and pop locale once inside, a stark contrast to the major retail store that is next to it. Staff were very polite and welcoming through the evening, from greeting, to checking in mid-meal, to leaving. Food came out quickly, was very flavorful, and solid sized portions. Despite the high ceilings and fairly full restaurant, the noise level was low and it was easy to talk. I chose this restaurant as my date mentioned liking Peruvian cuisine and the choice was very well received."

"My wife and I had a perfect lunch! Our waitress Susan was kind and gave us excellent service. We never had to ask for a thing. She was ready to refill our water and take away our plates in great timing. This made our visit very comfortable. The interior is clean and elegant. This would be a perfect date and dinner environment for any occasion. Each appetizer and meal of ours was spot on! We love Peruvian food and this tops our favorite locations in SouthFlorida. The ceviche mixto, aji de gallina, and anticuchos were phenomenal! A must try restaurant in Pompano Beach. We will be returning to try more Peruvian cuisine. "9/12/23 review: What a great remodel! It's so nice inside and out now! Very clean. Super nice staff, fast service, and very welcoming environment. Dragon balls and ranch were as amazing as ever. We both got specialty Mac'n'cheese this time. Huge portions! I'll say the Mac'n'cheese itself is very bland. Once you add on the homemade chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce like I got or the brisket with homemade onion rings and bbq sauce that he got, it's absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the specialty Mac over the plain because they are mind blowing. Old review from 2018: Great wings, great dragon balls, great ranch, bland burgers with upcharges for everything, huge clouds of cigarette smoke from outside drifing in every time the door opens, and unruly kids running everywhere screaming in a bar. "I recently dined at Sake Sushi Restaurant and had a somewhat mixed experience. The Eel, Boston, and Chicken Tempura rolls were quite good, with the eel boasting a nice texture and flavor. The combination of ingredients in the Boston and Chicken Tempura rolls was enjoyable, and they were well-prepared and presented. However, I felt they didn't particularly stand out compared to other sushi places I’ve been to. On the downside, the yakisoba was quite bland and didn’t have the flavor profile I was hoping for. On a positive note, the edamame was tasty. Overall, it was a decent meal but not exceptional."
