"Oh my, where do I even begin? I love ramen and have tried plenty of it in the USA, but this was the worst experience I’ve had. We ordered shio and tonkotsu ramen, and the broth was thin, lacking fat and umami, as well as overall flavor. It was just a bland, watery soup. The pork (chashu) was dry, boiled, and tasteless, with too much fat and skin. There was only a hard-boiled egg, instead of a properly marinated one with a runny yolk. The noodles were acceptable—not great, but not terrible either. I think they really need to rethink their recipes from the ground up. You’d be better off with a cup of instant noodles."
