"We wandered in on a beautiful fall Sunday for brunch. Two years ago it was a small, too-busy diner- it is now a chic, cozy upscale restaurant with surprisingly reasonable prices for truly beautiful food, a cut above. I had the shrimp and grits special- shrimp were grilled in olive oil and Old Bay, on a bed of sinfully saucy light Gouda cheesy grits, just superb. My husband had French Toast, elegantly served with fresh fruit, and the coffee was also flavorful. We didn't have drinks this time but they are available. At noon a talented guitarist/singer enhanced the already pleasant, mellow vibe. The owner stopped to chat with each table and service was attentive and friendly. We will be back."
