"LOVE this place! We stopped here for lunch while we were traveling through. I just wish this restaurant was in my town. First thing you notice is the atmosphere so quaint and cozy! It reminds me of what I think a cottage in the woods would look like inside. They even have board games you can play! I wish we would have had the time. We noticed at once all of the coffee and tea options along with the dessert cooler. Everything looked DELICIOUS. We are trying to lose some pounds so, not doing desserts, but this place made it EXTREMELY hard to deny the temptation. I mean, Chocolate Red Wine cake!!!! C'mon!!!! I'm still thinking bout it. We each had a sandwich. Hubby had the pasta salad (completely and wonderfully homemade not pasta with store bought italian dressing dumped on it . I had a side salad with mine with, again, homemade dressing. Our sandwiches were loaded with meat and were very filling and, of course, DELICIOUS. Our iced green tea was awesome too. The service was quick and friendly. They are short staffed but there is a sign stating such so we were more than glad to take our dishes up when we were done. I can't think of anything I would change about this place. If I lived in Waynesville, I would be here every opportunity I had! Thank you for a wonderful lunch experience!
