"I made a reservation with my friends for my birthday trip as it came recommended by the tour company I booked activities for us. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and seated outside. However, when we attempted to order a few of the sides (mashed potatoes, baked potatoes) the server indicated that they weren't sure if they were going to open to the chef decided to cut some things from the menu....what??? I can completely sympathize with a shortage of staff, but that is not what was communicated to us. We had our round of drinks then had to flag the server down to order more as he never checked on us after we had ordered food. When he approached us, he asked us if there was something we needed...not rudely, but just someone who was very new or poorly trained. The food presentation was fine, but all of the dishes were lacking in any flavor. For the prices this place charges, including the sides, this was extremely disappointing. The view was definitely beautiful, but I would rather have had a better dining experience elsewhere."
