"Our first waitress was awful. Someone finally gave us menus after sitting and waiting for 15 minutes She waited 15 minutes until she brought over water and silverware which was dirty. The food was greasy and overall it took the manager over an hour to see if we needed help. It was a really bad experience and we won’t be going back after 5 yrs of being a patron. They need to get their act together. They didn’t even know feta cheese and goat cheese were 2 different types of cheese. One is made out of goats milk and other made out cows milk and I can’t to tell them the difference even though they kept on insisting it isn’t and I can’t have a lot of salt because of a medical condition and they call themselves a Greek restaurant! Stay away they have gotten really bad. By the way the food was really greasy gyros. Need I say more?"

"What makes a good pizza? This nonsensical, yet deeply philosophical, question has sparked countless debates and even more foodie documentaries. I am here to say, i have found the answer and it came to me after finishing my first slice at Hole in the Wall Pizza on Irving. The modern era has given rise to Detroit style, we of course have had deep dish circling the drain for years now. Yet it is refreshing to still find a slice house that, after your first bite, floods you with contented feelings and nostalgic memories of why you (we) love pizza. The ingredients, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the hole in your heart ache that gets filled when you bite into that first beautiful slice after a long day THAT is what makes a good pizza, and THAT is why i will be coming back time and again to Hole in the Wall Pizza on Irving (bonus points for offering the option of slices, not just the whole pizza and the great selection of vegan options best hometown vegan pizza in the City)."

"I ordered the tofu bowl with vegan cheese, and unfortunately, it was quite difficult to eat. The flavor was lacking, and the overall combination felt random. The green sauce didn’t taste great either; a better curry sauce would have really improved the dish. Maybe even a sweet glaze on the tofu could help? Honestly, it might be best to just replace this dish with a more appealing vegan option altogether. I had asked the girl at the counter for her recommendation on the best vegan dish, and I'm sorry to say that it turned out to be one of the worst suggestions I’ve ever received. On a brighter note, the mushroom soup was fantastic!"

"We only saw our server once during our visit to the restaurant. The friendly hostess seated us, took our drink order, brought our drinks, took our food order, served us dessert, and even took our picture by the tree. It seemed like nobody else working there was interested in attending to us. We were one of only 2-3 tables in the entire restaurant, with a large party in the next room. Thankfully, the hostess saved the day for us and proved to be a valuable addition to the Five team."

"The food here is fantastic, and the portions are generous for the create-your-own plate, which is $18. The teriyaki chicken is delicious, served with a light sauce, and the pulled pork is very moist and pairs well with brown rice. There are also vegetarian options available, such as tossed salad, macaroni salad, and fried rice with egg. For dessert, you can enjoy Dole Whip and plain vanilla ice cream. The restrooms are clean, and the restaurant has a fun surfboard theme. However, the brightly colored chairs could use a wipe down on the backs. Be prepared for a busy lunch crowd!"

"My self and 2 coworkers came here for the 1st time to have a few drinks after work. Drinks were good, food was good. Cheeseburger empanadas were to die for! Now, my problem came is when we asked for the check, our server Giovanni brings over 1 check. I tell him we are paying separately. He tells me, We don 't do separate checks. Excuse me! 1. Why would you not mention that when we sat down, because he definitely didn 't ask if we had been there before. 2. It 's 3 people!!! Not a party of 10!!! Nevertheless, after a quick fuss, he split the checks. And proceed to tell us how they don 't normally do this ?Again, food and drinks were great but first impressions never get a second chance."

"Very cute little place! Plenty of outdoor seating and neat design inside the cafe. I had the quinoa protein bowl and it was very good. I have had similar bowls before at other places, this bowl was not overly seasoned and did not taste like msg was used. I did not feel overly full after eating it. The lavender chai tea latte that I got was delicious too! I will visit again if I am in the area."
