"This is a mixed professional review. I will preface by saying that if you dine in, I 'm pretty sure you 'll have a great experience. The food here can be absolutely top notch. The experiences I 've had both with family and coworkers while in house was amongst the best I 've had around in and out of Chicago. However my stars being removed are due to my take out experiences, which is my usual at this place. The cons are such: I am a taco snob , these are hit or miss some of the best tacos in the entire Chicagoland area asada, pastor carnitas are wonderful. Unfortunately, I 've had several to go orders messed up, with them putting unwanted cheese on the tacos. After a couple messed up orders, I called to tell them of the mistake. They are very nice and assured me they would compensate me the next time I ordered, even when I told them it may be a while. Two months later (yesterday), I called to order and mentioned the aforementioned SNAFU. I was told they had no recollection and no such list I didn 't argue as I still ate the previous meal and it was still good, although not what I ordered. I ordered a taco meal with an extra salsa (their salsa is quite spicy for most but I love it) they compensated me for the salsa ok... If all was well I wouldn 't be leaving this review but it was not. While they got the tacos right, the salsa they gave me (which I was looking so forward to for home use the next few days) was absolutely NASTY! It has that rancid 5+ day old taste; Cannot believe they would serve this, especially to someone who they know (or were informed) they messed up on before! I want to love this place but I cannot, I don 't know that I will give them another chance after this but if I do they may be sacrificed to the 1 star rating... Good luck, dine in!"

"I have been looking forward to visitig this restaurant for a while. I love Argentinean cuisine. As I arrived with my wife we were impressed by the beauty of the architecture you can tell there was a lot of thought and attention to detail. Inside we found a lot of the same impressive beauty and the layout of the restaurant was wonderful. When it comes to service our server was cordial enough, seemed to know the menu really well but lacked a bit of warmth. It left me and myfamily feeling like he wasn't enjoying what he was doing too much. We ordered drinks I got to say that's where this restaurant truly shined for me tonight. The drinks were really tasty and perfectly balanced. Now let's talk food. This is afine establishment so when it comes to your expectation of them using some of the best ingredients you won't be disappointed. You truly feel that every item on your plate was made of the finest quality ingredients they could find. Thedisappointing part was in the taste of some of the dishes (especially the steak) it had a strong taste of charcoal so much so that it robbed the steak of its natural flavors. Honestly all you tasted was charcoal. The chicken wasunfortunately a bit flavorless for me it needed a bit more salt or some kind of seasoning. We also had the steak milanesa which is breaded meat with ham and cheese on top. Unfortunately my dinner was brought about 10 minutes after the restof my family and it was cold. For the good parts my wife had a choripan that tasted really good. My father had a pasta with sausage I am not sure of the name but it was absolutely delicious probably the best of everything our table ordered.Oh yes! Don't let me forget to mention the dessert we ordered el gran final which included all their available desserts. This was an absolute highlight of the night we couldn't get enough. Allow me to mention the portions of everything inthis restaurant are big so just a heads up bring a big appetite. When it came to paying apparently"

"It was so loud it was deafening. And so jam packed that if they put one more person in the restaurant, I swear it would have burst the door and glass wide open. Had reservations. At they wanted to seat us at a high top long table approximately people on one side, on the other right next to the people that were crowded by the maitre table. We said no. We waited approximately another minutes. We then saw the ownermanager ? lift a table for and walk it across the restaurant to another table for and they sat us there. It was literally away from the other surrounding tables. One of those tables had a child perhaps years old hanging all over her mother and falling against the woman of the couple we were with. The mother was asked several times to control her child. She didn't bother. A square table for opened up in back of us, against the wall, and we asked the ownermanager ?, as he was passing by, if we could move to that table. We hadn't even ordered yet. He said we couldn't, and as he argued with us, the other couple we were with started moving our things to the other table. The ownermanager was exasperated ? finally agreed. They squeezed another people into those tables where we had been seated. It was awful. Regardless of the food which was greasy but good, we will not be going back any time soon. Btw, I rarely write reviews, but this just wasn't a good experience"
