"My wife and I went here for a date. We had not been to the restaurant for over a year. It was nice to see that they are still serving the same high-quality, delicious food with high-quality service. Our reservation was recognized when we arrived. We started off with the arancino appetizer. This week's stuffing was beef short rib. (Short rib was also available as an entree . There were three on our plate. They were placed on top of a creamy white (yogurt-based? sauce combined with drizzles of balsamic vinegar. Some sprouts were added on top for a pleasant looking garnish. The outside coating was crispy, the rice inside was al dente, and there was just enough short rib and carrot to give some bites a good chew. I ordered the delmonico (boneless ribeye steak. I asked for it to be cooked medium well. It came out what I would consider to be medium since it was pink all the way through but not **** inside. However, I didn't send it back before my first bite was delicious. It was so large, though, that I took it home for two more meals. The steak was served with a generous amount of crispy, fried onions on top. They were tasty, but I don't care for fried onions very much. The fried onion lovers out there will probably find these to be some of the best that they have ever had. It also came with some creamy mashed potatoes and crisp, cooked asparagus. My wife ordered the fried chicken and waffle. I tried a little bit of the waffle. It was delicious because they put real bacon bits in it. They gave us a complimentary dessert because our special occasion. There was a flaky pastry with fluffing frosting and berries in between the layers, and there was a ball of chocolate mousse with a chocolate cookie crumb crust underneath. I enjoyed every bite of the chocolate mousse concoction."
