"I’m from the area, but my mother-in-law is a local and Lebanese, so she recommended this restaurant when we visited with family. I’m not sure how it compares to other places with similar menus, but I was very happy with our experience! We started with hummus, which was good, though I wished they had more flavors to choose from because the ones they had were phenomenal. I ordered the chicken kabobs served with rice, tomato, pepper, and pickles, and it was amazing! The chicken was grilled to perfection, making it wonderfully moist with a fantastic charred flavor. I really wish I had ordered an extra serving of the grilled tomatoes because they were so good! The rice was tasty, and the homemade yogurt dip was incredibly delicious. I can't wait to come back here on our next visit! The service was great, and the bathroom was spotless. I definitely recommend this place!"

"I didn't eat in the restaurant. I enjoyed the food overall, but there were a couple of things that didn't quite meet my expectations. I've been on the hunt for a great stuffed mushroom for a long time, as I'm a huge mushroom fan. I really want to taste the mushroom itself while also enjoying the stuffing. Unfortunately, Salonas didn't deliver in that area. The fish sandwich was decent, and the BLT was quite good. Anyway, thank you, God bless, and on to the next experience!"

"Casual Mediterranean dining by the lake. We visited on a particularly cold day; they’re happy to serve on the patio beneath the heaters but we opted for inside. My man got the Buffalo chicken sandwich delicious with a (surprise to me) Gorgonzola finish that really kicked it up a notch. The veggie pita was calling my name, but I also wanted meat, so opted for a side of lamb gyro walked away with happy taste buds+belly :p He got a (v strong) Irish coffee FYI comes with whip. I got the Artemis margarita w/o agave—super tasty! My man has been here many times I see why he keeps coming back :D"

"today I ate at Ari’s and had a great experience in the restaurant. the food was wonderful and the customer service was just as good. I left my phone in the restaurant, and I didn't know until one was after my departure. I went back to the restaurant after having been closed for 20 minutes, hoping I dropped it on the parking lot. a hired and the owner saw me wander around and greeted me to look for my handy. the person who helped me led me through the restaurant and called my phone until we found it. eating at Ari’s was a 10/10 and the people who work there take care of their customers and people in general. I will definitely fit back into this restaurant because I know that I support good business, people and eat."

"My great-grandfather brought the family from Beirut in 1902. After his wife died in the 1920s, my grandmother left school to treat the household. All the time when I grew up in the 50s and 60s and in my college year in the 70s, she cooked wonderful Lebanese food for me and the family. Nothing I ever had in a restaurant compared to food from their kitchen. Yeah, I'm a very hard sale when it comes to a Meditteranean/Lebanese restaurant. Only Fadi’s is ever near Nanas home kitchen. This food must be very fresh with many dominant flavors. The cube must be rather soft and still firm and give an immediate taste with or without Labyn. Tabboulih must be particularly tart. Baba Ganoush must have this special eggplant texture and taste. Jasmine rice needs a delicate taste. Stuffed grape leaves should have a lemon tartness to them and be rolled thick. The baklava should be layered in the fluffy dough and have this special nutty texture and taste with every bite. The chefs can't make shortcuts or fake it. I'll see her. The cooks of Fadi know exactly how to prepare and serve this very specific food. All I mentioned is perfectly prepared for Fadi. Kibbe is fried or baked as it is ordered, so it could be the freshest. They'll take it to your table. The various types of hummus entice you first, along with their homemade pita bread. There are almost too many salads, from easy to choose. Her meat (especially lamb) is covered in lush engravings. Rice is in hills. That's the best I ever tasted outside my grammar kitchen. It is not unusual for me and my wife (which has learned all recipes professionally) to make the almost 200 mile round trip to lunch in Fadi. The portions are so big that we always bring a lot of food home with us. This surprising restaurant was recommended for years by a Lebanese doctor from me in medicine. Fadi never disappointed me."

"We were far from home and exhausted after a long journey when we searched for a place to eat. We stumbled upon this restaurant, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! I especially loved the tomatoes, which were grown right outside the restaurant. They tasted so much different from what you typically find elsewhere. It almost made me feel like I was in Greece!"

"I have been visiting Nashua House for 40 years. We used to stop by for a slice of pizza and a pinball game on our way home from Spring Street Junior School, which is now the Superior Court Building. It remains just as wonderful as ever. Everything on the menu is fantastic—especially their spinach pizza, subs, and baklava. I can always count on them. "I visited this restaurant for the first time and tried the Lamb Platter. The food and service were both fantastic. They even gave me a special Cilantro Sauce to try, which was amazing! "Vinnie's Italian Beef Gyros makes a great attempt at replicating a Chicago-style Italian beef sandwich, but unfortunately falls short due to the use of the wrong type of bread.The “crusty bread” used was too thin and lacked the flavorful crust that is a hallmark of a true Chicago-style Italian beef sandwich. As a result, the sandwich felt like it is being served on a soft hoagie roll.Other than the bread, the rest of the sandwich was well-made. The beef was tender and flavorful, and the giardiniera, and mozzarella cheese made a nice addition. The sandwich was served “wet” with a flavorful au jus.Overall, Vinnie's Italian Beef Gyros is a decent option for a Chicago-style Italian beef sandwich. However, the use of the wrong type of bread prevents it from being a truly great sandwich."

"Driven by a few times on the way to my brother's country club. Finally made it in. Wow, unexpected delight. Full coffee menu, including espresso, drinks, Italian sodas, lots of syrups for steamers. The cold brew was on point. No trace of bitter, smooth and bold. of course drank it straight black. Be sure to check out the full bakery cases and lots of seating. Great place to have coffee or breakfast sandwich. And more importantly, they have incredible hours. They open at 6:30 AM. A win."
