"Unfortunately, our meal was disappointing. The dolmas (stuffed grape leaves) were undeniably fresh but lacked flavor—perhaps they were vegan? My companion's okra dish seemed acceptable, but my "Lamb Shish" (as it’s labeled on the menu) was a real letdown, likely due to the sluggish kitchen. The rice was clearly pre-cooked and bland, the onions and peppers were sparse, and the lamb was overcooked, resulting in a gray, dry texture. Had my dining partner not recommended this restaurant, I would have returned the dish without hesitation.
The total bill for our lunch, which included two Turkish Efes pilsners (which were fine but nothing out of the ordinary) and an 18% tip, came to $124.98. Perhaps that’s why the restaurant was so empty. Honestly, I left feeling quite disappointed."
