"We attempted to reserve an outdoor table but were informed that outdoor seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. I explained to the staff that I am severely immunocompromised and requested a special exception, as it would be impossible for me to dine indoors. If that couldn't be accommodated, we would have to leave. The manager then spoke to me and said, “Sorry! If I make an exception for you, I’d have to do it for everyone,” and refused my request. She added that if I arrived and felt uncomfortable staying, it would be my decision. This experience felt very ableist and was quite disappointing. I genuinely hope that the manager never has to face a condition that requires her to depend on special accommodations."

"One major downside was the noise level in the restaurant, which was overwhelming. I struggled to hear anyone at our table, including my wife, who sat next to me; I often had to ask her to repeat herself. The noise wasn't from music—there was none—but rather from the other patrons talking. No one was particularly loud, but it all added up. My watch indicated a peak of 81 decibels, with an average around 80 decibels. As a former professional musician, I have a good understanding of sound, and it was clear that the hard surfaces—floors, walls, and ceiling—contributed to the issue. The place could really benefit from some soundproofing measures like curtains or acoustic tiles to help absorb the noise. Sadly, the noise completely detracted from whatever ambiance the restaurant might have had. My ears are literally ringing right now; it's been years since I experienced this level of ringing, last noted after a Megadeth concert back in 1987. I do recommend the food, but I suggest visiting during quieter hours or ordering takeout instead."

"The staff here is extremely rude and unwelcoming. I arrived and waited by the door for over 15 minutes without anyone greeting me or inquiring about seating. The bartender even shouted to her server, asking why I was standing there, and the server then informed me that I needed to leave because they were full. She mentioned that I should have arrived much earlier since it was "trivia night," which I was unaware of. I just wanted to enjoy some drinks with my fiancé. When I asked how long the wait would be, she bluntly said, “No, we’re full for the rest of the night; no one’s leaving. Next time, you need to show up at least two hours early.” I won't be returning. Apparently, I was expected to know in advance what “it’s trivia night” entails."

"A great restaurant on College Ave! If you want a filling and quality, casual meal, this is the spot. Great selection of local beer on tap, a wood fire pizza oven, tons of delicious burger options, and overall a quality menu. I had the special, the lamb burger, and the favors were delicious. The burger was a little overdone for my taste, but rather that than the opposite for lamb. Side salad was delicious too. The wood burger was also really tasty especially with the smoked Gouda. Fries were pretty good, but a little “floppy” for our taste. Definitely high quality potatoes though, so had no problem finishing them.We’ll be back for the pizza because that also looked good, and the outdoor patio area was lovely to sit outside and enjoy. The owner happened to be there and was really nice, offered to turn on the heaters as it got cooler. Amazing service here, very attentive.Also, I bet brunch here would be a great time too. The menu looked really good!"
