"I had a very good food experience at McAlister’s Deli, where communication was excellent and customer service was outstanding. The environment was clean, and while I'm not entirely sure about their pet-friendly policy, it certainly felt welcoming. Regarding COVID-19 regulations, they seem to be in place, although it's somewhat hard to tell. Deciding what to have for lunch every day can be quite a hassle. You don’t want to overeat or undereat, as you'll need plenty of energy to finish off your day. "I had a fantastic meal! The Harvest Chicken Salad (which includes pecans) on a croissant was one of the best I've ever tasted. The French Dip roast beef was incredibly tender, and the au jus had a rich flavor without being overly salty. The potato soup was also very good. And the colossal carrot cake was simply delicious. "I just ate at Mcalisters in Grenada. I ordered a BLT and nachos. The sandwich was pathetic. It was the most pitiful sandwich I have ever seen. Spent 9$ for it . 2 pieces of white bread microwaved bacon. Forgot the Alvacadoand when I asked for some it was dark almost black in color. After I ate there I had to go to Sonic to get some food.No more McAlisters for me . They need to teach the cooks how to make a decent sandwich. May May Haley"

"Being raised in an environment void of ice tea I passed on the purchasing a cup of McAlister's famous brew. I was encouraged by my friend to give it a try, the cashier was gracious enough to offer me a free sample. The results, Next time if I want something other than water I believe I might order the ice tea with my meal. It has the potential to make me enjoy drinking tea. Next my sandwich comes out on this nice thick dense bread, dense enough yet still soft and moist. My first bite was a pleasant surprise. The bread was amazing, it added a nice texture and taste to the sandwich. Almost a month later mouth waters slightly at the thought of eating that sandwich."

"I had two frustrating experiences at this location. On December 26, I called to confirm their closing time and was informed by Brittany that they would be open until 10:00 PM. We drove for 20 minutes and arrived at 9:34 PM, only to find out they had decided to close early. Then, on December 30, I placed my usual to-go order. We were told that we couldn’t order that combination, which was surprising. My husband asked the server to verify with someone else because we always order it. The order went through, but when we checked, it was missing three items that we had already paid for! Luckily, we caught the mistake before heading all the way home."

"Asked for the garden fresh turkey, asked to have it made on ciabatta and the cashier said it comes on ciabatta (it does not). When i received my sandwich it came on the grain bread it is supposed to, i went back to the same cashier and told her it was supposed to be on ciabatta and she said it is and i reassured her that it was not. She then rolled her eyes then asked the kitchen to have it changed. The food here is usually great, the crew is good but this one cashier has such a bad attitude and also did not know what she was talking about."

"I frequently get the savannah salad because it is really good. Even though it cost me 14.00+ dollars it is usually worth it, today when I got home and opened the box up I knew immediately the lettuce was bad, not just one kind but all the different types of lettuce were wilted and brown, nothing was crisp and fresh. "The lady taking my order and who I presumed was the manager, was extremely sweet. They messed up my sandwich twice and I had to keep sending it back because they kept leaving tomatoes on it (I’m allergic). I would understand if it was busy, but there were only two other people in the restaurant.Before leaving, I asked for a refill on my lemonade, but I wanted to change flavors. When I asked the guy (taller dude with glasses) that was behind the counter, he was very passive aggressive and rude. He sarcastically asked, “So what, do you want me to dump it out and get the other flavor?” then made an annoyed facial expression and rolled his eyes once I said yes.Once the food was corrected, it was really good. The problem isn’t the food tasting bad nor the overall service. That one guy just shouldn't work in customer service if he can’t handle doing a refill without throwing a fit."

"This place used to be awesome...it just continues to get worse and worse though. The sandwiches are just thrown in a box and when you get it, you have to put your sandwich back together. "Enjoyed my first visit to McAlister’s Deli. This location is connected to Castleton Mall so parking is a little crazy on a Saturday evening. Very friendly cashier who was helpful and answered questions. I took my cashier’s suggestion and had the Choose 2 option with half a Savannah salad (with Sherry Shallot dressing) and the Spud Max. Both were very good, but I actually enjoyed the salad the most. I would come back again just to eat a full sized version of this salad and dressing. Pricing isn’t too bad. For three of us to eat and drink, it was just over $30. "First worst experience, will not be back. Waited 37 minutes in the drive through, and when I get up to the window to pay the lady says “you had kids meal?” I said uhh no.. She says “ok that lady must have drove off, ok what did you have?” I only remembered that I ordered a half a sandwich and soup but didn’t know the names because I don’t come to McAllisters, so I told her that I ordered a half sandwich and soup and she said “$15.52” I asked if it is usually around a 35+ minute wait as I don’t come here but want to know that way I can plan accordingly in the future since I’ve spent my entire lunch break and then some in their drive thru and she said “$15.52”. I then asked if they always charge full price after their customers wait almost 40 minutes with their cars idling for food, and she said “yes, $15.52.” So I handed her my card and let her know that I would like a receipt. I waited a few more minutes for my card to be brought back to me, as she brought it to the front of the restaurant to run it, and she did return a few minutes later with my card and receipt as well as my half sandwich, soup, and large iced tea (which the ice had almost completely melted in). I called after leaving the drive thru and pressed 3 to speak with a member of management and the same woman from the drive thru answered the call and immediately said “please hold” and put me on hold. She came back to the line and said “how can I help you” and before I could even say a word she hung up. Definitely not an experience that I would say is worth $15.52, and in the future I will not invest 40 minutes in their drive thru for that kind of service. My sandwich was lukewarm and my soup is a gelatinous coagulated consistency- Would not recommend.McAllisters: I know that this review will probably get the same canned-air response that you comment on every poor review, so please don’t feel the need to waste your time!"

"I have learned from the past that we must start to go and sit to eat b/c I have false commands and sometimes missing items when I go through the pickup window.
