"If you're a local who drives through Short North on the weekends, it's no surprise to you that this is a very popular, trendy, classy, date night spot. On my first visit, service was top-notch. Every piece of food we were served, from the rolls to the desserts, were excellent! The filet was juicy and skillfully cooked; they didn't skimp on crab meat in the crab cake and it had a nice crust; sea bass had a ton of flavor and a perfect crust; brussels sprouts were super flavorful and soaked in some delicious juices/bacon; the wedge salad was topped with the best bleu cheese dressing I've ever had; they had a bread pudding special that weekend that felt like I was eating at a southern joint; the chocolate torte was dark, rich, and decadent, just how I like it. As stuffed as we were, we left clean plates after dessert. It took me forever to find an occasion to visit here, but it was well worth the splurge. Hyde Park is not over-hyped!"
