"My family and I drove an hour to have ice cream together here and it was delicious. The waitress was super sweet and attentive however I received the wrong flavor but the order had been relayed to her via a young man who it may have been his first day so no big deal. It didn't matter anyway I loved it and the waitress hooked me up with some caramel on top to make up for the mistake. I would definitely recommend it!"

"This could've been an amazing stay but unfortunately too many elements made it rather mediocre. The villa itself was nice and sweet however they never came to clean it which was rather odd given we stayed multiple nights. The first night we ate at Kensingtons out of convenience. Some items were decent like the fresh bread, shrimp appetizer. But most dishes were very poor. The short rib was over cooked, dry, and overly salty. The filet was subpar. But the apple tart was delicious. Next day we went to the spa. Robes and slippers were lovely but the spa was very crowded with 10 women trying to fit into the hot tub. We had booked detox pedicures but the pedicure was not at all pampering with barely any foot massage. But the final day we ate at Ascots for lunch which is driving this two star rating. We waited 20 minutes to place an order and another hour to receive it. When it arrived my meal was wrong. Even though they said they'd fix the order it never came, and yet the final bill included it and I needed to argue with manager to have it comped given it wasn't what I ordered! Left feeling this facility didn't have any appreciation for client servicing. It's a shame as it could've been a lovely stay."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner tonight. Although we didn't have a reservation, we were lucky to get a table on the patio. The staff was attentive and incredibly friendly. We sampled several of their white wines and started with the hot crab appetizer. I ordered the pan-seared salmon while my husband had the crab cakes, and both dishes were excellent. We'll definitely make it a point to dine here again on our next visit."

"We finally have gourmet food in Lorton! We have frequented this restaurant in the evenings and enjoyed Steak Night, Taco Night, Sunday Dinner specials, and the regular menu. Every dish tastes fantastic. Today, we decided to try their brunch and it was amazing. There were so many delicious options to choose from. We ended up ordering the lemon ricotta donut holes, shrimp and grits, and fried chicken biscuit. All three dishes looked wonderful and tasted even better. The mini plates are delicious and perfect for sharing between two people, and the sides are also excellent. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Lorton. Chef Perry is fantastic."
