"If I could give this place zero stars, I absolutely would! Our waitress was awful; it took her 20 minutes to take our drink order, and she didn’t even bring us all the drinks we ordered. After finally taking our food order, she never returned to check on us. An hour later, we still hadn’t received our food. We ended up paying for our drinks and leaving, as my one-year-old was starving and we never got our meals. The waitress then had the nerve to be rude to us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone."

"Wanted to like it, as my daughter who lives in Somerville recommended, but really couldn't. Another trying to be foodie place that just ruins what should be a good, straight forward meal. Drinks self service, without enough room. Scones were doughy and bland. Grilled Muffins had paper left on from cooking, so it ended up in food. A big wad of paper as your trying to eat can ruin experience) Ham had funky taste, overpowered ham and cheese omelette Sick of foodie places trying to be foodie. Let the base ingredients speak."

"I stopped by for breakfast on my way back to Longmont and had a great experience. It’s a cozy place with friendly staff. The server was attentive and really pleasant. I ordered the ranch breakfast, which included two eggs cooked any style, two pancakes, two sausage links, two strips of bacon, and hash browns – a truly complete meal. They also have this really delicious sauce that I enjoyed. It was just what I needed to kickstart my day!"

"So disappointed this Saturday morning with our dining experience. We’re here celebrating a beautiful weekend together at the lake. The wait staff was friendly, but overwhelmed with the amount of customers. There were 4 other groups of customers that came in after us that received their food before us. We waited over an hour to be served simply soup, sandwich and an omelette. When our food arrived the order wasn’t correct. My BLT came on White instead of Wheat and the bacon wasn’t fully cooked. My husband ordered an Omelette with onions and there were no onions. I had asked for hot tea and they had no tea bags or lemons. Sorry to say we won’t be coming back the next time we’re at the lake."

"I called to express my concerns, wanting to address it privately rather than online, but the staff on the phone basically argued with me, claiming it was my fault for not approaching them directly to ask to be put on the waiting list at the back of the restaurant. This is an absurd expectation to place on a customer. At a restaurant, they should either add me to the list at the front or manage the list themselves when I arrive. Expecting me to take the initiative to put myself on a waiting list just to get a table is completely unreasonable."

"For a little corner donut shop , Dandee has much more.My western omelet was good, vegetables were fresh tasting. Home fries seemed like they were baked or dropped in the fryer as opposed to being pan fried. Biscuit was disappointing; had more of a bread texture instead of a traditional, flaky biscuit.My friends both got eggs to order with gravy and biscuits as a side. They agreed with the texture of biscuit being off and the making of the home fries but agreed that the eggs were good.We also all got Iced Caramel Macchiato which was a little sweet for me but they enjoyed.And of course we all got donuts to take home to share with our husbands. They look good but I will have to update after we eat them.The atmosphere was pleasant with booth, counter and table seating."

"In my ongoing quest to find the best cookies and gravy on the island, I have to say that Stacks just didn't meet my expectations. I saw many plates of delicious-looking food being served, but my meal was quite underwhelming. The gravy was very bland, lacking flavor, and almost tasteless. The cookies were good, and the eggs were decent, but the housekeepers were so crunchy that I started to wonder what I had actually eaten. I believe if you order their pancakes, French toast, or waffles, you’ll likely be pleased. It's worth a visit to discover just how decadent their pancakes can be."

"I paid $8.50 for a small piece of whiskey cake at this restaurant in downtown Portland. After finishing my drink, I left and was chased by a bartender who thought I had taken her glass. I had to go back to the bar to show her it wasn't mine. I will not be returning to this establishment due to the high prices for drinks and the unfriendly staff."
