"Walked in at 9.30pm on a Sunday and the kitchen was still open. It's open later than most places in this area . Didn't have drinks, just ordered food . The Salmon with 2 sides I got mashed potatoes and kale . The Salmon was fried I think because it was a bit crispy on the outside but nice and moist on the inside. The mashed potatoes taste homemade. There was a little side container of hot/sweet pepper jelly for the fish. I liked that , it was a nice touch. I'd skip the kale next time and get broccoli or something else. Food was tasty and staff is friendly. This place is big and they've been here a long time. Probably crowded on Friday or Saturday. Good late night East Village choice. Unpretentious. Get the Hot Toddy on a chilly night!"

"A nice spot for printer row's inhabitants. Very good and generous burgers. The baristas are so friendly that you immediately feel the vibe of the neighborhood bar. I've only been during evenings so it might be emptier during the day. It can be a bit loud, but it's a bar (so.... it adds to the ambiance). Check it out for various events too."
