"Tonight was my second visit to this restaurant. Both times were pretty good, although as you can see from the picture this stuff is GREASY. We could definitely tone down the grease levels in here for sure. Grease aside, everything was very flavorful, great use of garlic and savory flavors. As you see in the photos I have the Cajun style shrimp and grits, a classic favorite that I always love. This place does it well! Flavors were comforting and had that good, down-to-earth comfort food feeling. This dish did not come with a side but I got the Brussels sprouts, which were a delightful addition. My companion and I also had Portabella mushrooms for an appetizer, which I did not get a picture of. They were very delicious, a very unique and different kind of appetizer you wouldn?t normally see around town. Topped it off with a pomegranate martini which was a lot more basic (flavor-wise) than I was expecting, and I definitely missed a garnish on it! Would?ve been really beautiful with perhaps a lemon twist. Anything, really. Due to the greasy nature of the food I will have to give only four stars for now, however everything else was very good and I would not count out at third visit to this place."
