"Earlier today, I went in to get a sandwich but the service was almost slow enough to make me leave and go somewhere else. It was lunchtime on a warm and sunny Saturday, entering summer time, and capitol square was completely flooded with people exploring/shopping through the farmer's market stands. Tons of families, tons of friends and couples, and just a ridiculous amount of people on capitol square earlier today. And this location only had one employee behind the counter, trying to juggle online orders as well as people making their orders in person. Two people in front of me left because of how slow it was and I almost did too, the only reason I didn't was because I promised a sandwich to a panhandler. I don't blame the girl behind the counter, just the fact that they were severely under-staffed for the farmers market, which is well known and predictable. I almost thought of telling the people at the back of the line to not waste their time"

"Honestly, if you do not like where you work, find a new place of employment. Patiently waited in the lobby for ten minutes prior to writing this review. "Today I was craving Subway. Not Wawa or QuickCheck, but Subway. It had been years since I last visited. As a vegan, I don't often go to these kinds of places, but Subway holds a special place in my heart. I used to frequent it when I was vegetarian, ordering a sub with egg patty for protein, spinach, red onions, and BBQ sauce. Those were some great memories. I had hoped that in 2021, I would find a vegan protein option on the menu, but unfortunately, that was not the case. Instead, I ordered a veggie sub with spinach, peppers, banana peppers, red onions, tomatoes, and oil and vinegar on a roasted Italian footlong, paired with a DP to drink. I planned to take my order to go, but I noticed a sudden downpour outside, so I decided to stay and enjoy my meal in the cozy restaurant. Despite the rain, I savored every bite of my fresh, crispy sub as I watched the storm pass by. The only downside was that there was no one to thank as I left. I know Subway has been facing challenges in recent years, with the rise of fast casual dining. Perhaps some changes could help them attract a larger, more diverse audience. Here are a few ideas I have: add vegan options, promote sustainability, update the outdated yellow color scheme, play cooler music, offer nitro ice cream coffee, switch to paper bags instead of plastic. Just a few suggestions. Something about Subway still resonates with me after all these years, and I'm glad I decided to revisit."

"I experienced the worst customer service I've ever encountered at this restaurant. If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. I had a coupon that I had successfully used at this location before, but they decided today was the day to stop accepting them, even though it doesn't expire until August 27, 2023. I ended up paying thirteen dollars for a sandwich when I could have gone next door to Sprouts and gotten one for just $4.99. They didn’t inform me about the coupon issue until after my sandwich was made. I would advise steering clear of the employee with a blonde streak in her hair; her service was particularly awful."

"The guacamole on my dish was terrible and tasted bad. I informed the waitress about it, but she insisted it was good. I requested a new one, but she said I would have to pay for it. I decided to forget about it but warned that I would complain if I became sick. The waitress then called the manager and I eventually received a new guacamole. However, there was a mix-up with the payment as I ordered a whole portion but only received a half. Despite my attempts to show her the mistake, she refused to acknowledge it. Overall, the service was disappointing and there were issues with the order. I may not return to this restaurant in the near future."

"Complaint Regarding Employee Behavior – February 5th, 9:10 AM Hello Manager, I visited your Subway location on February 5th at 9:10 AM to order a sandwich. While I was placing my order, a middle-aged Spanish woman working behind the counter was talking on the phone using AirPods. She did not respond to my questions and seemed completely inattentive. When I asked about my order, she became visibly frustrated, raised her voice at me, and insisted that I order the vegetables in a specific manner. I found her behavior unprofessional and disrespectful. I expect courteous customer service, and this interaction was disappointing. "Ordered online bc nobody would answer the phone and I let it ring 20 times. It was to be picked up. My husband went in and they told him to go to another subway location 11 minutes further, that there was no order. He called me I told him it was at that store so, he went back in, they found the order. They completely messed up the orders. No cheese , no dressing on the veggie, so much dressing on meatball it was running down his arms. They tried to give him a 6 inch and I order 12 inch. We got no receipt. There was not a single customer in the store. She couldn’t even figure out how to get the sandwiches in the bag. No napkins, no receipt, nothing went right. I had coupons and couldn’t use them, I paid for double cheese, no cheese. Ridiculous. No one in drive thru either."

"This subway location is the best! I make a point to go out of my way just to come here. Recently, I made the mistake of going to another location with consistently bad customer service and disorganization. It was empty in the middle of the day, unlike this eastern main location which is always bustling. The staff here are friendly and efficient, they made my sandwich exactly how I wanted it. They provide excellent customer service and make delicious sandwiches. Plus, they even serve coffee and offer delivery services."

"Addison and Jake were absolutely wonderful! They were very kind and understanding. I hope to have the pleasure of dining with them again. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was top-notch. I highly recommend trying the White Chip Macadamia Nut cookie, Raspberry Cheesecake, and Spicy Italian dish. The prices were very reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20 per person for lunch. There is plenty of parking available, including free street parking options. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!"

"First off, they didn’t have meatballs, which is what I came in for. OK so I get a Philly steak. I couldn’t understand the guy behind the counter because he mumbled. In fact, he just stared at me when it was my turn. He didn’t ask could he help me. After he told me, there was no meatballs that’s what it seem like he started hating me. I don’t even know this kid!!!! He starts making the Philly. He digs the scoop in the meat, fills it up and then he only puts part of what was in the Scoop on the sandwich!!! Lol! I didn’t catch it at the time but he didn’t even heat up the meat and cheese before he put it on the sandwich. I had to go home and do that. Told him I wanted onions and green peppers and he’s strung two or three across the entire sandwich so I asked for a little bit more. Same thing with the lettuce. He puts the wrong sauce on, I told him to just scrape it off, and I’ll deal with it. Now he’s seems madder!! Turned out to be the worst sandwich I’ve ever had from subway. The guy that took my money acted like he couldn’t even count the money out and boy did he take his time. I hated my experience so much that I took the SUBWAY app off of my phone. Those kids will never have to do with me again. Oh, there was water all over the floor. I hope no one slips and falls. Good luck with those employees. "Today's dining experience was not the best. I visit this restaurant twice a week and usually receive excellent service from the younger employees who work there. They work well together and always provide great service. However, today was different as the older female and male team did not provide a pleasant experience. The male employee seemed distracted and did not listen properly, resulting in me receiving the wrong bread and missing the additional cheese I wanted. The female employee, who seemed to be in her 40s, was irritated when I tried to customize my sub. I was surprised to learn that the Specialty Subs cannot be changed, and if that is the case, I will just order a Build Your Own instead. Although I was polite, I was frustrated by their lack of professionalism. A tip for future reference, it is not advisable to address customers with nicknames like "hun" or "sweetie," as some people may find it disrespectful in a professional setting. Overall, this subway is just like any other, but the experience heavily relies on the employees' attitudes and service."
