"Ordered from here for the first time last night. Food was terrible. Clam strips dish was like buying a frozen dinner. There was no taste of clam, just heavy corn meal batter. The container was so loaded with basic fries I had to move them to a different dish. The salad had no tomatoes and the potato skins were just a baked potato cut in half with some sort of liquid cheese product on top. Disgusting! I threw most of it away and asked for a refund. Don't waste your time or your money on this place. YUK!"

"I didn't try the famous hot dog, but I had the pasta, pizza, and fried dough garlic bread. The pasta with cheese and sauce was amazing and very filling, with a generous portion of pasta and plenty of cheese. I would rate the pizza a 3 out of 4; I only got two slices instead of a whole box, so I can't say for sure if a full box would be different, but those slices were quite large. My wife loved the fried dough, which they cut into strips, and the kids also enjoyed it. Again, they were generous with the toppings. I was surprised to see milkshakes and a lot of other menu items there; I always thought it was just a hot dog place, but they had so much more. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time because this place gets busy, and you’ll have to wait if you don’t. Also, when I visited tonight, they were cash only, so make sure to bring cash. I’m not sure if that’s always the case, but it’s best to be prepared."

"La Bettola Italiano is some of the best Italian I have had to date in the northern Virginia area. I went with my family for my graduation dinner and my expectations were exceeded. The service was wonderful and the environment was pleasant. The food is made entirely in house, from start to finish, and it comes out hot. You can easily taste the difference in quality between this family run restaurant and a larger chain restaurant. For having a party of seven, the wait time was a little longer than anticipated. I noticed that they seemed very understaffed, so the wait time was understandable. All in all, it was a wonderful experience with amazing food. I highly recommend La Bettola Italiano to anyone in the NoVa area."

"This is close to my house and was excited to try it. The service is extremely hit or miss, there is a male server who was very nice and gave a solid experience but the food wasn't so great. A second time a female server who was incredibly awkward anddespite asking for some time to decide our order, she hovered at the table asking if we were ready 5 times in a matter of about3 minutes. The food is pretty decent; however, there are more consistent diners in the area that also provide a betterexperience. I'll be trying it again, because it's close and everyone can have an off day or two, but this review reflects mycurrent experience"

"My orders here are more than correct. Today I asked for an American sub. I told him what I wanted. All right. He asked if I wanted it roasted. No, thanks. I get the order and it looked tortured. I called her up and was told that I knew you didn't want it roasted, I just heated it up, I didn't get it! It's not even a cold sub. It is even under the cold part of the menu. My last order was a meatball, but no cheese, please. The sub arrived without cheese. But why did they put banana peppers on it? I called her and didn't get an apology. He just said they told him to wear it. He's just the cook. Only 2 examples of a story of false orders. The food is good... as long as they do it right."

"I ordered the chicken broccoli alfredo and decided to add shrimp. The pasta may look expensive, but the portion size is quite generous—definitely enough to feed two adults or three kids. Just be sure to mix it well, as the pasta on top won’t be coated in the sauce. The sauce itself was flavorful. The chicken was decent—seasoned, though a bit on the dry side, but still satisfactory. I would have preferred the broccoli to have a bit more crunch, but it was fine overall. The baby shrimp were a great addition. I think the pasta could have used another minute of boiling, but everyone has different preferences for pasta texture, so that’s not a major issue. The meal came with a salad, which I didn’t particularly enjoy. Overall, it was well done, and I would rate it a B+."

"Finally had the pleasure of stopping in and meeting JR himself. Restaurant itself is adorable with a comfortable decor. There are several spots for outdoor seating as well.We had several items ranging from pasta to Stromboli and everything was delicious. The garlic bread and soup was a pleasant opener, full of flavor and had us eager for the main course.For entrees we did a meat lover Stromboli. I was amazed at the texture and flavor of the dough. The side of red sauce to dip the meat stuffed roll of deliciousness in was the perfect combination. We then moved onto the mixed seafood pasta. This was the highlight of the evening. Clams, shrimp and mussels swam in a wine and garlic oil sauce that complemented rather than over whelmed the flavor of the seafood.As a third we had the chicken parm. This was flavorful and hit all the right spots for comfort food.Next time we will come back for the pizza and hot sandwiches."

What really draws me back is their pizza—it’s simply outstanding! They serve generous slices of thin New York-style crust with perfectly gooey cheese and well-balanced tomato sauce, all on a couple of paper plates. Honestly, if I were on my deathbed, I would be craving this pizza, not a salad—despite how good they are! This is not your typical Papa Gino’s pizza. The subs are also huge, stuffed to the brim with delicious ingredients. It's no surprise that the small parking lot fills up quickly with local workers starting at 10 AM. Who wouldn’t want a big BLT or an egg sub or a quesadilla that early? Trust me, you'll want to queue up for the perfect lunch break! So, go visit Angelina's, soak in the great atmosphere, and enjoy the fantastic food!"

"Very friendly staff, inexpensive and high quality food. I ate the buffet pizza and was impressed by the quality. Not your standard tea buffet pizza and the salad bar was clean and fresh. Could use a little more choice of salad bar, but certainly more than chain restaurants. I saw several other customers order from the menu and saw their food and smells delicious. Adequate variety in the menu too. I'll come back and bring my wife and family. Head up, the Buffalo chicken pizza is hot. I mean really hot. Great if you like it so, but surprisingly if you don't expect it."

"I arrived at a busy restaurant with a full parking lot, but unfortunately, there were no available spaces. The crowd inside initially made me eager to dine there, but my experience quickly took a turn for the worse. Upon entering, I found no one at the hostess stand, so I went to the bar and seated myself. After a long day at work and dealing with a stressful financial situation, the lack of service and unfriendly staff created a rather unpleasant atmosphere. I had to ask someone to clean off the bar and bring me a menu – a task that should have been routine. It took quite a while for a server to finally take my order, and when my food arrived, it looked unappealing and seemed like it might have been reheated. The overall lack of attention to detail and the disinterested staff left me with no desire to return. In summary, my visit was disappointing, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to others."

"Received a roast beef sandwhich which was made wrong and tasted funny. Called to let them know and was told no it was sliced fresh this morning. Felt sick after eating not even half the sandwhich. Called back next day to speak with owner andthe manager Josh is very rude and not accommodating. Wants to prove you wrong or put blame on the customer. Pizza was nastytoo. Food is not consistent quality. Owners are suddenly MIA. I will get my money back! ???? and I will never orderthere again. Being treated like that left a bad taste in my mouth never mind the food. Should I have begged for my dinner thatI paid for to be corrected. Geeessss. I run 4 breakfast restaurants. So I get the cost of inventory. Customer Service isjust as important. That kid would be fired!"

"I have to say, everything was fantastic. We ordered the grilled chicken parmesan with red sauce and ziti, which was a generous 2-3 lb portion, maybe even more. We also got a large cheese pizza with sauce, as well as a chicken parmesan sub sandwich, also with red sauce, weighing around 2 lbs. Additionally, we ordered more grilled chicken, again around 2-3 lbs or possibly a bit more, and everything was delicious. The meal also came with bread. Overall, the food was great and reasonably priced."

"Food is amazing but their service is horrible. I placed a delivery order and immediately called in to provide packaging instructions. (Delivery app doesn't allow for meals to have the sides added) As I'm trying to identify my order and then provide the name the employee abruptly states they can't package it since my order been sitting since 4pm. Keep in mind I ordered my food at 6pm. Once she realizes her error she corrects it. Fast forward to delivery person picking up the food. They inform him they don't have my order. Food is entirely too good for service to be this horrendous."

"This place was nice and the food was homemade. I didn’t give it 5 stars for a couple small reasons. Our waitress was very attentive but like to talk and shared a few too many personal statues while we were trying to eat. Also, you have to take your own bill up to the cash register. Like I said, the food was good and homemade but a few little shortcuts were taken… the garlic bread was just white hamburger buns that were buttered and toasted. The eggplant parmigiana was good but they just laid a few very thin slices of fried eggplant on top of the spaghetti which didn’t really make that yummy layer experience that eggplant parmigiana usually gives you. The fried mushrooms were homemade and delicious. But the portion was a little small for the price. The atmosphere was nice but was pretty basic. It is just a big room with tables and booths nothing to break up the space or the noise. All in all, it was good, but would I go back probably not there are other options out there that add a little more pizzazz or things that make you want to come back time and time again. The crowd seemed to be mostly older people and I’m sure they like the no fuss home style atmosphere."
