"beautiful restaurant! great food! fair prices! but we probably don't go back. I have to say first that they have organized a high time in the hotel so that it is possible to have many regular employees pooled there. our waiter was not very interested in serving. it took him 15 minutes after I asked for a champagne to inform us that they were listed from the 2 champagne wines in the wine menu. the waiter's act came to our table to take our order when I asked about my wein, he somehow shot his head looking at the bar! the bartender finally came to our table, but should the waiter not have known? the bartender also recommended an existing wine. we had to ask for a glass of ice, as the coldest of my man was cold, but no ice. Our turtle cheese cake had very little turtle! mostly only simple cheesecake – good, but not I was introduced. it just seemed like people didn't want to do their jobs!"

"I've been here a couple of times but this time it was a little disappointing. The braesola starter which I love really saved up on the mushrooms. And they were plain old mushrooms, not the fabulous wild mushrooms they had in the past. I was amazed. The pasta specifically was salty and dry. The fried calamari and prawns were very salty too. The quality of the food that goes into the meals is really top notch. In their defense, we went there right after the holiday weekend and maybe it was a little different. It won't stop us from coming back in the hope that it was an anomaly rather than the norm."

"Came for restaurant week and left highly disappointed. First, when we arrived, no one was at the hostess stand to acknowledge us. We stood there for several minutes trying to figure out if we should seat ourselves, or if we were even in the right are. A waitress finally noticed us and came over to say someone would be right over. Next, I got the “betta bruschetta” as my appetizer with restaurant week. There was hardly any cheese on the bread and the appetizer itself was lackluster. Soggy bread with a pea-sized amount of cheese and tomatoes. Very disappointing. For our main course we ordered the salmon and the sirloin. Asked for the sirloin to be cooked medium, it came out still mooing. Asked for the salmon to be cooked medium rare and was informed “we don’t take special order does our salmon.” The salmon came out over cooked, dry, flavorless, and impossible to eat. I literally had to take my entire salmon home after one bite because it was THAT bad. We also took the steak home because it was inedible. It took an hour for our entrees to come out and we were not waiting around for a re-fire. Most of our experience at this restaurant was spent listening to the waitresses and the hostess argue about where to sit people and who to not seat because they didn’t have reservations. These conversations were held on the dining floor in front of everyone. Lastly, the restaurant itself is situated inside a hotel. Which we didn’t think anything of until we watched multiple hotel guests walk through the restaurant to access the hotel. Guests who were dirty and stared at you while you were dining. It felt extremely awkward and gross. There should be something to block hotel guests from using the restaurant as a cut-through. We will never be back. We wasted $75 and 2 hours of our time and still left hungry."

"We discovered a wonderful little gem while attending a baseball tournament. Tucked away in a strip mall, this place was a delightful surprise. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, an Italian sub, and the Margherita pizza. The portion sizes were enormous; my son could barely finish half of his sub! The pizza was fantastic, and the homemade sauce was absolutely delicious! We’re thinking about returning this weekend to try the pasta. I almost forgot to mention— the service was excellent too, with a friendly staff that made our experience even better!"

"Stick with me here: My mom is 81 and has dementia. For years, I’ve regretted never learning her recipes for her nutroll-which was the best I’ve ever eaten-and her MEATBALLS-also the best I’ve ever had. To the point that I NEVER order meatballs ANYWHERE. Why be disappointed?My significant other doesn’t have this issue and orders them everywhere to try to get me to try them. He did this at DiPietro’s. I am SO FREAKING GLAD he did! Their meatballs are exactly like my mom’s! They are flavorful, correctly seasoned, and moist! I dare say, the best in the city. If I ever meet Mr. DiPietro, or whoever has made this trip back to my childhood possible, they’re getting a hug and my sincere thanks.This made my whole year!Everything else we have had here-chicken piccata, chicken romano, pizza, hoagies, etc has been equally as wonderful. (My SO hates capers, except in the piccata from DiPietro’s. This place ROCKS!Are they a little more than many places in the area? YEP. Is the food much better than many places in the area? HECK, YEAH! I’d pay a little more any day for this quality. If they keep producing this quality of dish, I will keep ordering food for my family from DiPietro’s. The quality is well worth the price."
