"The service was poor, and the beans in my torta were spoiled and had a sour taste. When I brought it to their attention, they refused to address the issue, claiming it was a new recipe or that it was the cheese on top of the beans causing the problem. They even wanted to charge me extra to replace the spoiled beans with more rice. Since opening four years ago, the quality has really declined."

"I have nothing but good things to say about this restaurant. It seems quaint at first, but when you walk in every seat is full and people are waiting, which tells you just how popular it is. We got seated fast on a busy Friday night. Our drinks and foodcame out very quickly and tasted delicious. The salsa was amazing, the queso dip was huge, and I really enjoyed the flavor ofthe chicken chimichangas I got. Great experience."

"This Mexican restaurant is small but vibrant. While it may not be completely authentic, it is definitely a step up from Taco Bell or Chipotle. The quality of the food varies, with some dishes standing out more than others, but overall everything was decent. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. We visited for lunch on a Saturday and despite there being only 3 other occupied tables, it took a while for our food to arrive and for us to receive our check. Additionally, the presence of intoxicated patrons detracted from the overall dining experience."

"We used to go to this place a lot but that was like 15 years ago and it was always delicious. But on 9.19.2022 we were disappointed. The only thing we enjoyed were the chips they are fantastic and the salsa was pretty decent also. My wifeordered a regular Margarita but we had to send it back immediately... it was obviously missing ingredients probably Triple Secor sweet and sour mix because there was zero flavor or Sweetness in the drink the only thing that it tasted like was cheaptequila and lime juice. They replaced it with a raspberry margarita but that also had a chemical taste to it. Which is too badbecause this could be a really decent place to hang out at it is clean and in a good location and the prices are reasonable. The steak tacos we ordered were kind of bland. And unfortunately I suffered from heartburn all night long and into the nextmorning. Maybe it was just an off night for them. Hope they get back on their game because it would be really nice to have agood margarita place close to home."

"After calling ahead the day before to make a reservation we were very disappointed with the service, the food, and how long it took to get the food. Never a complaint at the Country Club Hills location, this was no where near their level. We had a party of fifteen, the reason we called ahead. My bill was $460. My son ordered shrimp tacos and couldn't even eat them, they smelled of bleach so bad. Very disappointing."

"First off, good news... no Marshall Applewhite affiliation here. No white Nikes. No need to wait on Hale-Bopp and no Koolaid. Lol. The food was pretty good overall. I did the buffet. The price is good for it. I wasnt told ahead of time, but you'll need to request certain items to be made for you. After waiting for the fried chicken about 10 minutes or so I was told they didnt have any left. Unfortunately the waitress was a bit racist about it. She was complaining that the kitchen staff didnt speak English and was going on about quite a few things. I was annoyed by it and not paying attention. Basically she finished off saying when it was just the blacks and white working here these problems didnt happen in the past. The rest of the people I talked to in the restaurant were nice. You can order food off the menu as well, but I didnt look at the menu. Im sure the rest of the food is good here. Not sure I'll be going back any time soon."

"What a delightful little find we stumbled upon for brunch on Sunday! After being turned away from Mi Cucina on Rt 59 for not having reservations, we drove about a mile to La Poblanita, and it turned out to be an excellent decision! We enjoyed chilaquiles, red enchiladas, and churros with peaches and ice cream for brunch. We’re definitely planning to return to sample more of their menu. The waitstaff was quite busy but also very friendly. We loved our experience!"

"The food is just as I remember it from my childhood! This was my first visit back in years, and the steak taco dinners were outstanding! The sauces were fantastic! I really can't stand greasy food that skimp on the meat or use subpar vegetables, so I was thrilled to see that they used high-quality steak, the tacos weren't greasy, and the veggies were fresh! The entire restaurant was spotless, and the woman behind the counter was incredibly sweet. I will definitely return when I'm in the area. I highly recommend this place – it's truly a gem on the South Side!"

"Excellent flavor and quality. Had vegetarian burrito and taco... both were great. Good selection of vegetarian items. The place is clean, the staff is super friendly. Free chips and salsa (which is rare these days). We appreciated that they use real plates and silverware. No excess garbage generated. Oh, and they have fried ice cream too! Will have to try next time..."
