"This is truly the best pizza and subs (we call them grinders) in Tennessee! We dined here during our trip to Nashville while staying at a nearby hotel. Since moving to Tennessee from New England, we've been on the hunt for pizzas and sandwiches that we love, and we’ve finally found the spot! The pizza was outstanding — perfectly balanced with just the right amount of toppings and cooked to perfection. We also tried a few subs and were blown away by their taste! We can’t wait to return to Nashville just to enjoy that amazing pizza again! The fries were fantastic too. My only wish is that it were closer to our home in East Tennessee. Please don’t change a thing — you’ve nailed it!"

"Long story short, I moved from Chicago to Gurnee for a whole month and a half. Since I lived here I was searching for food. I tried Lou malnatti's. I tried rosattis. I tried Sammy's. I even tried the McDonald's by my work . Even the Arby's and otherfranchise restaurants around here are not the same. I tried Leo's Chicago grill right on Washington and I got hooked On It ishow good it tasted. The gyro meat is so good and juicy I love it. "I was very disappointed with the pizza I received. When I opened the box, it was completely folded over, as if it had taken a wild ride. The crust was paper-thin, and there were maybe four pieces of one topping I ordered, with none of the second topping (even though I paid for it). I spent $16.99 on a flimsy, folded pizza that was missing about 75% of its toppings. The breadsticks and French fries were decent, I suppose, and the delivery was quick. However, if you're looking for a good pizza, I would definitely recommend trying somewhere else."

"I have never had a negative experience with the pita here. The restaurant is consistently clean and the staff is always friendly. It's worth the slight wait during lunchtime because their pitas are so delicious! This place is a great option if you're looking for something other than your usual fast food. Don't forget to try the Boom Boom sauce!"

"I would rate this place even lower than one star if I could. I've enjoyed their food for many years, but the customer service has really disappointed me. The prices are far too high for the quality of the food. They charged $21 for a chicken alfredo, which included a $4 delivery fee, and I live less than half a mile from the restaurant! It looks like I’ll have to give up my favorite food because I simply won’t order from them again."

"After finishing my volunteering at SDHS, I occasionally stop by this restaurant to grab dinner to take home. It's never crowded, which is convenient for me, but I often wonder why that is. The drink machine is never operational when I'm there. Despite that, they always seem to have orders being cleared, but that hasn't affected my own order time. I enjoy the bowls the most, though the pitas are good as well. I especially like their brisket option!"

"The customer service at this restaurant is fantastic. We were greeted with smiles and our orders were taken promptly. This was our first time at Pita Pit and we decided to build our own bowl. There was a small miscommunication with our order, but the staff apologized for the wait, which wasn't a big deal. Our bowls were huge and we left completely satisfied. We checked the ingredients online and were pleased to see that the entire bowl was only 590 calories."

"Truly one of the best pitas I 've had outside of the East Coast! Ingredients are fresh, flavors all very true and the amount of customization is insane! The real highlight was good falafel, it 's hard to perfect and these guys have done one helluva job with it. Staff was over the top friendly, food was crazy fresh and the restaurant is clean and colorful. Try 'The Local ' with some 'Boom Boom Sauce ' and you 'll be back for more!"

"Please eat here!!! Everyone, listen up. I walked in at 2:30 am, right before closing time. This place is under new ownership and management, and they exceeded all my expectations. I wish I could give it 800 stars! The service was unbelievable, and the quality of the food was out of this world. I had a Teriyaki Chicken Gyro, and words can’t do it justice. Seriously, give this Pita Pit a chance. You won’t regret it. The new owner, Rolando, is a fantastic guy—just a man trying to get things going and provide great service to his customers. I rarely leave reviews like this, but Rolando, his son, and the staff completely blew me away with their food and service. I can’t recommend this Pita Pit location highly enough. Seriously, eat here. "I really really love this place. The staff are extremely helpful. They're fast very friendly and super clean. The food is Delicious portions are big and I always leave feeling very satisfied and planning my next trip back. I always customize the falafel pita but my mom enjoys working her way through the menu and has landed on the Thai chicken Pita with satay sauce. Yum. Accessible for wheelchair users.
