"Dublin Square Irish Pub was at the top of my list of pubs to check out in San Diego. Located in the heart of the Gaslamp district, it’s just a few blocks from the convention center train stop. This means you could save on parking fees—$30 or more—by taking the train for just $2.50 and enjoying some delicious Irish pub fare. I ordered the fish and chips, and I absolutely loved them. The fish was coated in a crispy panko crust and came with thick-cut French fries. The fish was incredibly fresh—quite possibly the freshest I’ve had in years! I sat by the window, enjoying some people-watching on a beautiful San Diego day. For dessert, I indulged in their flourless chocolate torte topped with fresh berries and raspberry sauce. Everything was fantastic, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for the same meal. That said, I’m also eager to try some of their soups, as they sounded quite unique."
