"Wonderful relaxed ambiance, romantic and great service. Offering general Mediteranean foods such as humus, we were more interested in the specifically Afghan dishes. Hubby adored the lamb shank with saffron rice. I found many vegetarian choices including Kudu (pumpkin w yoghurt available without meat), Sambosa (pastries with chick peas that remind me of British pasties, my favorite). The desserts were absolutely decadent. I had the mini chocolate cake and hubby had the custard flavored with cardamon and rosewater. Fantastic! I have already recommended Nora to 8 of my friends. We drove 1.5 hours to eat here but we will be back."

"I am so glad I was referred here by someone. I was not too familiar with the area and I was told this was the place to go for a damn good steak. Little did I know this was going to be the best steak I 've ever had in my life. Wow...I had the Steak for One with sauteed mushrooms and onions and brussel sprouts with bacon. These were not small portions. In addition, I was greeted respectfully and promptly at the door by Victor who served as my primary waiter/bartender as I sat at the bar. He, and two other gentlemen by the name of Nick C. And Klaus worked perfectly together as I had a perfect evening. While Victor was my primary guy, these two made sure my drinks and food were out and I always had a refill without asking. They were also respectful, fun and great to talk to. From food to service, this was probably the best experience I 've ever had at a restaurant in my life. Compliments to the Chef, Victor, Nick C., Klaus, and the Owner(s) for running a well established restaurant. I 'm not in the area too often, but when I return I 'll definitely be back. I may even be willing to drive an hour and ten minutes randomly because the steak was that good. Thank you all for the great experience. I look forward to coming back! "The food was outstanding overall. For appetizers, we tried the Canadian bacon and it was great, as were the crab cakes. The Caesar salad was good, but unfortunately, the fried calamari missed the mark—it was too gummy and not crispy at all. They did offer macaroni and cheese, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and while it was very cheesy, it wasn’t exceptional. The Brussels sprouts were good, as were the cream of spinach, mashed potatoes, and sautéed onions. I had a massive lobster tail which was quite good, and we also ordered a steak for three that was excellent, along with two steaks for one, all of which were cooked perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"

"It was Mother's Day and it was hectic. They experience this every Saturday night. very crowded. My daughter did not want salad and ordered a soup instead. The soup did not come out when the salad did. The waiter finally came back to the table and asked if she had the soup. Our response was NO. He said he would go and check came back 10 minutes later said it was very crowded in the kitchen and asked if she wanted anyway, because our main course was being served. It came time for dessert my daughter who did not get her soup ordered pecan pie before she ordered they explained they were out of one dessert not the one she ordered. Again, 10 minutes the waiter came back to the table and said they were out of pecan pie. Very disappointed both times. We waited a while for my other daughter's ice cream and waited for a cup of coffee. Twenty minutes dessert and coffee came. Coffee was not a full cup just half. Not going back there for a long time and will not recommend. We were frequent visitors to this restaurant and always took friends because it used to be very good."

"We eent here for their restaurant week promotion. The only steak house offering a 14 oz cut of steak with no additional cost added to your tab. The sirloin steak was delicious and came with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. Can't really beat that on top of a free appetizer and a dessert. We added a bottle of wine recommended by the waiter which was fruity and sweet, fantastic. He told me to grab the steak and eat it like a caveman.
