"I was apprehensive about dining here for our anniversary after reading mixed reviews, but I am so glad we decided to come. We went on a Thursday at 5:30 and were the only ones there. They were out of a few appetizers, including one we wanted, but we ended up getting the bread service with cheese and were very happy with our choice! The Root Beer New Fashioned cocktail and wines were fantastic. The filet steak and elk chop special were delicious. The mac and cheese side was average. We were too full for dessert! Our waiter was the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. While friendly and fun, it wasn't the romantic vibe we were looking for on our date night. It made the experience seem a bit diluted. However, we will definitely be returning!"
