"I grew up on C&E Pizza in the 1970’s and 1980’s. It was a staple almost every weekend. I can remember vividly the day the building burned down when they were located almost across the street. Thankfully the family returned and kept making absolutely the best pizza wast of the CT river possibly all of CT. I haven’t been back in the area lately but I’ll definitely be eating here the next time I am."

"Nice place to eat. Servers were very nice but didn't appreciate being sat next to a table that brought their dogs into the restaurant. They fed them when servers were out of sight. I support anyone who needs a service/companion animal. That's what they are trained for and they are to aid the person not be treated like babies in a stroller. If your pets can't be left for a few hours while you go out to eat maybe you should consider take out. There are health codes that need to be followed to ensure health and safety of everyone. What if someone at my table had allergies to dogs? We were not told they were seated near us. I've worked in food service and am aware of guidelines that need to be followed by owners and patrons. Have some consideration for others when you decide to take your pet out. I am a pet owner and don't expect others to feel the same way about my pet as I do. I love him and spend time with him in our own environment."

"Best grinders around! I've been a regular at this place for years. I first started going because their grinders are outstanding, and the gyro plate is absolutely perfect (they use some really unique spices). They serve dinner all day, which is a huge plus. The soups are great, and all the meals are consistently delicious for leftovers the next day. Some of my favorites include the meatloaf, ziti and sausage, chicken parm grinders, gyro platter, and a variety of their soups. However, their menu offers so much more than just those dishes! The prices are reasonable, providing great value, and the staff is really nice too."

"I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. I was on my way to enjoy Sunday brunch at Tommy Nevin’s, a place we hadn't visited in almost ten years, only to discover it had closed. While walking back to my car, I spotted this place and decided to give it a try, despite its unremarkable exterior. I’m glad I did! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a very family-friendly atmosphere. The food we ordered was fantastic! I had the crab cakes, which were the best I’ve had outside of San Francisco, and my wife enjoyed the fresh smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and a bagel. We will definitely return and bring friends with us next time!"

"I came in here for lunch after having a rough day. They were very polite. I ordered my meal and was waiting. Another customer came in and ordered. He showed them a very meaningful picture. The workers, Chris Brian, were so happy for this customer and uplifting him. I told them that it was so nice to see others encouraging one another and truly excited for each other. This customer left and despite his hard times walked out he door with a smile on his face as well. How amazing to see people still come together and root for one another. Chris and Bryan were truly authentic as this is the way the treated the other customers as well. They insisted on cleaning up my table as well even though I felt guilty not taking care of my own trash. All with a smile on their face!! On my way out I told them that Inwould absolutely be back here…because of them. I left there with a smile on my face as well. You never know how you will impact people. And I’m so thankful for Chris and Brian. What amazing workers and human beings! THANK YOU CHRIS BRIAN!!!"

"I had a terrible experience at Royal Pizza House in New Britain, CT. I used to enjoy their pizza for delivery, but my recent order was a disaster. It took 1.5 hours for my meal to arrive, and I was charged extra for a substitution that I had agreed to. When my order finally arrived, the ham wrap tasted disgusting, as if it had been sitting out for too long. This experience has convinced me to advise against eating at Royal Pizza House in New Britain, CT, and especially against ordering from them."

"Ordered by phone for pickup. The order was for 2 Chicken Marsala both with extra ziti extra Marsala sauce. I was told 30 minutes. My daughter went to pick it up 30 minutes later and waited another 30 minutes totaling over a hour. She got home and the order was completely wrong. They sent a side of linguine Alfredo, a side of chicken parm, chicken Marsala with no ziti and one salad instead of 2. I called and explained what I got and what I ordered. The SAME person who took my order was the same person on the phone when I called and said I was coming back. Not only did they NOT have my correct order ready when I got there, they hadn’t even started it! Then he proceeded to tell me there were 2 salads there(which there wasn’t). And I said,” I don’t care about the salads I want the food I ordered “. Finally got the food and they threw in a 2 liter bottle of Coke. Got back home AGAIN and the Coke was already opened with at least a full glass missing. Also, never got the “extra” pasta I paid for. Got about a half cup of ziti. Even though I confirmed the order again before I left. $56 dollars is not a cheap order. I’d post pics if I could. I will never go here again."

"I liked the restaurant, very informal, clean and everything to make it a great place to eat. Their menu is extensive. I was amazed at all the choices. The staff was very friendly. My only two complaints: My combo beef and sausage was disappointing. It was very small. I expected it to be on Italian bread. It was very small and the beef was not seasoned but the Italian sausage was excellent and the fries were good. My other complaint is that there were no prices posted."

"Delicious chicken pita sandwich! Chicken was seasoned well, and cooked to a slight char like a shish kabob. Perfect proportions of thinly sliced onion/ tomatoes/ red pepper/ green pepper. The pita bread itself was fresh. My sauce was packaged separately- which prevented soggy pita bread Prompt delivery as promised. Packaged neatly and securely with napkins and plastic fork spoon. Definitely will be ordering from here again!!"

"We ended up at the Tavern during the block party, it was pretty busy but the quoted wait time of 50 min ended up only being 30 min so that was a plus! Once we were seated we ordered a cocktail and a beer. We also decided to forgo our usual nachos as an appetizer and order the calamari instead. My husband had never tried it and it did not disappoint. The calamari was full of flavor and not the slightest bit rubbery. I would order it again in a heartbeat! Dinner….was another story. We ordered the Jalapeño Burger and the Tavern Dip Sandwich. The only redeeming quality was their fries, honestly their sweet potato fries were fluffy and delicious. The poor meat on our sandwiches were well over done/cooked. The burger was all char flavored (and not the good kind) as well as the meat on the dip, wayy too over done. Tough and DRY (Hope our pictures show how dry the meat is.)It’s hard to justify the lack of quality when the price point is up there. (Our check was almost $100) There are several other places I’d go for dinner in the valley before I’d order another entree here. The Fork downtown and Sid’s Garage just to name a couple! It looks like their happy hour would be a good deal but save your coin and go elsewhere for dinner! I will say service was excellent and Sapphire was very friendly!"

"I ordered pizza and fries from the website for delivery. Never again. It took an hour and change to get to me, pizza is cold. Fries are cold. Pizza tastes like fried dough with cheese. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place or order them through the slice app. There are others out there who are decent pizzeria."

"Oh my GOD. Y 'all, I can 't say enough good things about this place. Usually, even some of my favorite restaraunts will have one not so good experience here and there on an off day, especially with takeout. This place? Not once have I been disappointed.We have ordered delivery from ABC many, many times, and it has always been awesome. So far I have tried their gyro, greek stylepotato wedges, potato salad, steak hoagie, Italian hoagie, Greek salad, house salad, fettuccine alfredo, Al Capone pizza,pepperoni pizza, cheese pizza, and the house special pizza, and every single thing was absolutely delicious. My father in lawwho is quite a picky eater ordered the Al Capone when he was in town and scarfed down 3/4 of the pizza, and requested that weorder it next time he comes to town. Delivery is quick, the staff that takes the orders is always super friendly, and the foodis good every damn time. I always tell myself that I 'll take pictures before I eat so I can leave a review, and when the foodgets here I always forget and just devour it???? One of these days I 'll come back with pictures! Haha. Seriously though, ifyou 're looking for some good food, fair prices, and friendly service, ABC is where to go."

"I ordered from this restaurant today for the first time in 10 years. I had a well-done burger with onion rings and it was a horrible experience. The burger was old and dry, and the bun was extremely hard around the edges. I tried to eat the meat without the bun, but it was too dry to enjoy. The onion rings were okay, but I didn't finish them as they were part of my meal. My wife ordered the Caesar salad, which was also disappointing. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to return the food due to work commitments. Out of all the restaurants in this small town, this was the worst meal we've had to date. We won't be coming back anytime soon and hope that the quality of the food improves in the future."

"I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The flavors were authentic and not too salty, with well-balanced seasoning. The food was cooked perfectly, not overdone. Everything had a light, refreshing taste, nothing heavy. The Italian Grinder was packed with meat and the portion size was generous. The Bellacino’s Meat Eater Pizza was also delicious. The 8 Piece Garlic Cheese Bread was light and the dipping sauce was yummy."

"I called and ordered a small half bacon , half sausage pizza and a grilled chicken salad when I received the order I received a half bacon , half chicken pizza before hanging up the phone the rude young girl never repeated my order to make sure it was correct. When I called to tell them that my order was made incorrectly the girl put me on hold three different times. When the young girl finally returned to the phone i then told her that my pizza was made incorrectly she told me I had to return the pizza when my new one got delivered mind you COVID is around and instead of me returning i told her that to let me keep . She then argued with me and became real rude on the phone. Don’t order from here"

"At one point, a customer asked for a refund because of the long wait. After that customer left, the employee started shouting about him and proceeded to curse loudly as he walked to the back. Later on, he noticed water leaking behind the serving counter and continued to complain loudly, exclaiming, “They don’t pay me enough,” while tossing towels onto the wet floor and watching other employees clean up. I had my family with me, including my young son, and it was an extremely uncomfortable experience. When my food was finally ready and bagged, I suggested to him that he should refrain from complaining in front of customers, especially considering how the ringing phones were being ignored by placing them in a drawer. We were the last ones in the restaurant and the last car to leave the now-empty parking lot. Overall, it was a quite miserable experience."
