"These two will undoubtedly thrive as the baby boomers, of which I am one, retire this year. The management runs an exceptionally organized establishment. I only ordered a steak sandwich, but whoever prepared it knows the art of grilling to achieve perfectly melted cheese. The food was outstanding, the prices were even better, and the service made me feel like I was dining in my own home. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the staff were exceptional! This is a wonderful spot for the whole family to enjoy miniature golf and treat themselves to some ice cream. I would highly recommend it to anyone! As a quick update on March 24, 2020, I visited again yesterday and had yet another fantastic cheesesteak along with a large bowl of beef orzo soup. There’s nothing quite like a warm, delicious soup on a cold, rainy day. With everything going on due to the coronavirus, it was uplifting to step inside and feel the warmth of the people there. What a great team and delicious food!"

It's disappointing to see that Francos allows their delivery drivers to park on all corners of the intersection, blocking crosswalks and curb cuts. This is a real concern for the neighborhood, especially for local children and elderly residents, if anyone is paying attention to their safety. Regarding kid-friendliness: there were 42 pedestrian deaths in Philadelphia last year."

"Tried Valley Pizza this Friday. Got a large chicken parm pizza. Pie was alright. Chicken was bite sized chunks and seemed like true parm. It was a little tough though. Not real chewy but definitely lacking tenderness. Also felt like there should've been more chicken pieces on the pie. The bottom was moderately toasted. The dough tasted alright. It was pretty floppy and the toppings slid off quite easily. Gotta fold or two hand this one. The cheese tasted pretty average. Sauce was nice and sweet. Parm cheese was pretty good but could only taste it ona few bites. Too floppy and needs more chicken. 5.7/10. Also tried a personal pie. Sauce was spread real thin and it had a nice cheese layer. But can't say anything was exceptional. Well executed basics. 6/10."

"Stopped in upon a recommendation from the Amtrak train conductor as a good food joint near the train station. Enjoyed the food and hospitality. The portions were large and everything was cooked just right. The seafood diner with linguini was chocked full of shrimp and tasty psuedo-crab while the half 3 Rivers sub was just a bit too much to finish in one setting. Would recommend for other Amtrak (or Greyhound) passengers due to the close proximity."

Pricey in comparison to local neighborhood pizza shops. Not worth the time or money. Very bland. Ho-hum. Yawn....will never order again and I do not recommend that you try it. Roll the dice one more time, whatever you come up with will be better than Pizza Parma."

"This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the quality has really declined. I ordered two orders of fries yesterday, and they were far from appealing. There was hardly any mozzarella cheese on them, and instead of chopped fried onions, there were long strips that didn’t even taste fried. My husband’s cheese fries were also disappointing. "Absolutely terrible!!!! I ordered through the Slice app for delivery for Palermo's. The order was delivered 30 minutes past the estimated time. Ok it's Friday night...I could have looked passed it being late; however, the food was terrible! The margherita pizza was made wrong! The steak sandwich has stale bread which was also soggy and it fell apart as soon as I picked it up. (As an aside, I say steak sandwich bc if you don't pay 50 for extra"cheese, you don't get any cheese at all!)I contacted Slice's online chat since that's who my money went to and they contacted the pizza shop. Palermo's said there was nothing they can do because they haven't had any complaints today about any other orders. So I guess my complaint doesn't matter?!?!?If that's how Palermo's wants to treat their customers then they have lost my business."

"I love the food at Milton's Pizza Pasta, but their service is really disappointing. I placed an order at 8 PM with an estimated delivery time of 9 PM. By 9:30 PM, no one had arrived, so I called to check. They told me the driver was already heading back to the restaurant and couldn’t say where my food was. They said they would remake the order, which would take another 25 minutes. Because of this, I had to go pick it up myself. No one offered to refund the delivery fee; I had to insist on it. I’m still wondering what happened to my original order."

"Have eaten at Oliverios or had take out from Oliverios for years. On July 6 ordered take out. Result: the calamari was so overcooked breading was all one tasted, plus we ordered sweet chili calamari, but they gave us regular calamari. My salmon was prepared properly and was good. My spouse's was over cooked on the ends, the center was fine. The green beans and carrots that came with the meal were almost non existent. I had three small carrots. The bread sticks were barely done not up to standard. Overall an expensive below average meal. Dining in is much better than take out. I did message the restaurant about my experience with no response. I support local establishments but will do less support of what was previously my favorite local restaurant."

"This restaurant offers the best pizza and steaks in the area. As an Italian family from South Philly, we have high standards for these foods, but we were blown away by the delicious pizza we ordered. The crust was thin and crispy, the sauce was tangy, and there was just the right amount of cheese. "The customer service here is horrendous. Bad attitude lack of professionalism and disrespectful !! My husband ordered a Greek salad and a grilled chicken salad from my mother via phone For pick up. He specifically told them no onions! I overheard him say it at least five times no onions on anything my mother is severely allergic to onions.. what do they do? When my husband asked to speak to the manager, the girl Maria, said she was the manager and the owner!! Like really you’re answering the phone as the owner… We will never ever order from there again! "I had the worst customer service experience ever. I waited over an hour for my food. They claimed they had arrived, but no one rang my doorbell. When I called to inform them that no one had come and that someone was waiting outside, I felt like I was being called a liar. I ended up waiting outside for another 30 minutes, and now they won't answer my calls at all. In the end, I never received my food. I will never order from here again!"
