"This restaurant has a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The food is extremely fresh and seasoned wonderfully. It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the USA. Even after traveling around the United States, I always come back here. It truly is the best. I ate here on 5-6-22 and tried the Enchiladas Rancheras, which were very tasty. The staff has changed, with a new group of waitresses replacing the friendly male servers. The ladies are quieter but still very friendly. Despite the change in staff, the food remains delicious and the ambiance is still welcoming."

"This is my favorite Mexican place in town. They have great American style Mexican food. It's *almost* authentic but not so heavy on the cilantro and jalapenos which is how I prefer mine. Normally their service is impeccable but this trip was very slow and not the usual attention to detail. It won't stop me from going back but I hope it doesn't become a trend."

"We visited this restaurant to enjoy my favorite dish, Huevos Ranchero. However, I decided to try their new offering, Cochinita Pibil, instead. As someone who enjoys cooking, I can honestly say that this will be the only pork dish I want to eat from now on. It is absolutely incredible! The staff is fantastic as well. Lexie assisted us and was friendly, attentive, and incredibly quick. We didn’t even have to wait a minute for our beers!"

"Ordered food for the first time here and it was delicious! Authentic tasting, generous serving sizes, and with fast service. The staff were nice and the quality was great! "My husband and I decided to go for dinner, and we were eating an ordered meal. I thought we had a good dinner to pick up my soda and drop them all over the table, they came out quickly and I was very embarrassing. When we were ready to leave, we waited for a few minutes to pass, they said someone took care of it, we were both very surprised that I started crying we had never happened. "I ordered a kids meal for my granddaughter. She ordered chicken tenders and rice. When we got her meal he brought chicken and fries. I told him she ordered rice so he brought rice. Then when we paid we were told we had to pay for the rice even though it was thier mistake because they brought the wrong thing. Then the manager wanted to argue about it. I have never been so humiliated and was made to feel belittled. Their customer service sucks. And the waiter treated us bad too"

"Overall, terrible experience. Food was not good. Paid $26.00 for 6 tacos which were stale. Was basically told they didn’t care. Service was terrible. I had to flag the waiter down to get a drink refill. Total bill was almost $100.00 and the server didn’t bring me back the correct change. When I told him he owed me more money he acted angry. "I used to be a loyal customer of this restaurant, but it seems like things have taken a turn for the worse in the last four months, possibly due to new management. Today’s visit was disappointing: the floor was sticky throughout the restaurant, there was an unpleasant smell, and one of the staff members didn't even acknowledge us. To make matters worse, my friend tried to use a text offer from corporate, but they refused to accept it. I had the same offer, which we receive regularly and have used before without issues. I really hope they consider bringing back Alex, Victor, and Diego, as things were so much better under their management. I may reconsider coming back in the future!"

"This place is absolutely amazing. I first came here with my Daughter and her family so the memories I have here mean the world to me. Every time I visit I am reminded of them and feel close to them again since they have moved so far away. The have aloaded fries plate that is absolutely amazing. All the food has been wonderful and the atmosphere is awesome! The service isstellar and the prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and inviting and make you feel welcome. They do not rush youinto a decision and are willing to make recommendations that fit exactly what you didn't know you wanted! Every time I come hereI find a new favorite. They are very kid/family friendly and are very patient with little ones. My granddaughter is autistic andthey had so much patience with her that it was heartwarming. They soon had her out of her shell and smiling and laughing andloving being there. As a family we felt welcomed and embraced. We were not made to feel uncomfortable for the littles getting alittle loud and they stopped by to laugh with the littles. This is definitely a place I will return to both as a family and as acouple. The staff makes this a great place and the exceptional food just puts the icing on the cake!!!"

"When our online order arrived, there were 2 of the 3 items we ordered. We called the restaurant to ask what happened and the manager answered. He personally packed our online order and was the one who helped us to realize that the Door Dash driver stole part of our order. It wasn't the fault of the restaurants. What did the manager do? He offered to make and deliver the food personally to Peculiar. This is not a restaurant that supplies! In addition, he had mentioned being short staff. So he used his own personal gas to drive an order in which they did not screw up because someone else had a bad person in a night where they all probably had additional work to begin. Not only that, ALL OF THE FOOD was amazing. The food he made very clear was just made, and it was hotter than the food we had delivered. Go! You deserve your money! We've never set foot in the building, we're going to come. In addition, I will tell anyone I know to go here."

"I recently visited my parents in Virginia and this restaurant was conveniently located within walking distance of my hotel. My friend and I invited my parents to join us for dinner. We were promptly seated at a table spaced out for social distancing. The chips and mild homemade salsa were brought out quickly and were delicious. The service was fantastic, with very friendly waitresses. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. The mojitos, especially the strawberry mojitos, were also delicious! Overall, it was a nice spot and I would definitely recommend it."
