"Food was terrible. Do not order steak. They broil frozen steaks serve overdone. I ordered 8 Oz filet it was like a stone on my plate tough, dry awful. I had two bites could not eat. I didn't complain because it was birthday celebration and didn't want spoil the night. The waitress clearly noticed I wasn't eating never asked why or how steak was. She knew. If you like stone crabs Trulux is ok. Do not order steak. Aspargus was not edible. Tough skinny. Atmosphere was just OK. Old dated not clean. Tears on booth seats. It's gone downward."

"As always, the highlight of the meal was the prime rib. That's the main reason I occasionally stop for dinner at Jerico's. The blue cheese salad dressing is so-so and tastes like it comes out of a glass, but the wine portions are quite generous, although the wine list is pretty dated and conventional. And at 77, I just have to have qualified to reach the minimum age for entry! Still, the prime rib is the best in town.!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed the food at this restaurant. However, I felt that the waitress was a bit rushed and seemed annoyed when I mentioned that the cappuccino/espresso was cold. Instead of apologizing, she simply expressed her surprise that it was cold. She did offer to warm them up in the microwave, which she did. Two of our guests voiced their complaints, and she kindly removed that charge from the bill, but the other two guests were too polite to say anything. I might consider giving this place another shot, but I’m not sure I’d want to have the same waitress again."

"Last night, I tried the Steak and Cheese sub at Rosa's during the Friday Food Critic night. I ordered it loaded with double meat, double cheese, and fries. The sub was really awesome, almost deserving of 5 stars. However, the double meat was a bit much, creating a messy eating experience. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating was the lack of Hoagie Spread at the restaurant, as it is essential for a proper steak and cheese sandwich. The crinkle cut fries were not a favorite, and the quality of the meat was average. Despite this, I would still order it again as it is the best option on this side of Richmond. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and the staff is friendly. Overall, it was a good experience, although not quite reaching a true 5-star steak and cheese standard."

"It was my birthday and wanted a good steakhouse. Loved reading the reviews and decided to give it a try. Upon entering restaurant, we were promptly greeted and made to feel welcomed . We were right on time for our reservation. The place was busy and seemed to have a lot going on. We were seated within a few minutes wait . It took a couple of minutes and our server was quickly at our table. We place our order and eagerly awaited our food. We went with the nights special of crunchy tacos filled with yellow fin tuna. I didn’t car for it as it didn’t taste fresh, though my husband gladly enjoyed it. He also enjoyed the wedge salad served with a true slab of bacon! I really enjoyed the French onion soup ... fully loaded with flavor ! We then moved on to the main course of elk steak and buffalo steak. The elk was a little too lean and dry , however , the buffalo was outstanding ! We then decided to have a little dessert though we were both already full. I ordered the flourless chocolate cake which was amazing !!! I would go back again just for dessert ! Hubby had a simple side of ice cream which he enjoyed as well. I would say this is a busy restaurant with prompt service . It was pretty loud for date night . Would be great for a night out with friends"

"Had good food catered from here a while back so decided to go dine in with a couple of friends. Was not impressed. No napkins on the table and had to ask three times before the waitress did a drive by and tossed a few paper ones onto the table. Her attitude was curt the entire visit. Food was average and my eggplant parm appeared to be deep fried from frozen, then a few squares of pre-wrapped cheese-food squares were melted on top. I would warn friends that this place seems more like a fast-food joint than a restaurant."

"The food tonight was excellent. Truly excellent. The service left a lot to be desired. A lot. The waiter disappeared for the first minutes I was there. Not even so much as a glass of water when the food started to arrived, the service improved. Then the waiter disappeared again. For close to minutes. I wanted a cup of coffee. No waiter anywhere in sight. I finally got up to go find a waiter (preferably my waiter) and by the time I found him I was so frustrated I could not think about what I had wanted, just thapt he was nowhere to be found. I told the waiter that our meals were excellent, but the poor service really spoiled an otherwise lovely evening. The waiter said that he had been in back" (whatever that means). I told him that I had no idea why he had "been in back", and I could not imagine why is should be OK for him to disappear for so long. After I had spoken with our waiter, the gentleman at the table next to me got up and told the waiter that he seconded what I had already said"

"So I purchased the coupon number 13, which included a party size one topping pizza, 2 L bottle of soda, a large garden salad, and 20 wings. They delivered the food except the salad so when I called back to see if they could send the salad out the gentleman told me he didn’t charge me for it. The coupon states that it’s 5799 I gave the gentleman $65 And he told me that he didn’t charge me for the salad and I then went on and it looked up the coupon and reread it to him and he was like oh well I didn’t see that the salad was on the coupon I said well that’s not my fault that he didn’t see coupon listed or what the items were and so the owner said he’d give me a five dollar coupon for the next time I called and ordered from them again but when I told the young man on the phone that I wanted my salad he told me it was gonna cost $10 so I said to myself why not give me a $10 credit instead of a five dollar credit to make a long story short their customer service sucks and I’m really disappointed because my family and I have spent a lot of money at this restaurant and this was not the way to handle it we will not be returning here Here."

"Honestly SO disappointed. I should have known when they had reservations day of with 2 events at MSG that night. Previous reviews were correct about servers not coming back around. She was nice just didn’t come around and of course when there were issues. The maple bacon app was good and so were the fries! That was about it. We live in the middle of nowhere where NJ and get better steaks in Easton PA and Baking Ridge NJ than this NYC place. We had high expectations because we know good steak. Ours was undercooked and even the server said it was when she finally came back. The brussel sprouts were also really hard and not cooked through. Definitely won’t be back. Maybe it’s a tourist trap and we didn’t know? But for the price disappointing. Wish we just ate inside MSG."

"Now called the neon moon, food is great, I had the steak salad, steak was cooked to perfection! My SO had wings, although you can get good wings almost everywhere nowadays, their wings were crispy outside, moist inside. Buffalo Sauce was good (I think it was Texas Pete) friend had chicken quesadilla, she was not impressed. Service was not exceptional, but this is more bar-slot rooms than restaurant. If you are in the area, it is a good place to stop"

"I visited Filomena Lakeview Inn at around 4:30 on Monday, Feb. 27th. The waiter initially brought two menus and a lunch special menu. I requested another lunch special menu as I was meeting a friend, but he informed me they only had 10 per section. Despite the restaurant not being busy, he eventually agreed to bring one. In the end, we decided to order from the main menu. I opted for the mustard seed crusted salmon priced at $29. I had considered the crab cakes, which I believe were $39, but the waiter mentioned that they came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. When I asked if I could substitute the mixed veggies for mashed potatoes and spinach, he stated that there would be an additional $5 charge for the spinach. I was taken aback by this and ultimately chose the salmon. The snarky attitude of the waiter and the $5 upcharge for spinach left a sour taste in my mouth. Despite having recommended Filomena Lakeview Inn in the past, my experience today has left me disappointed."

"I would give this place more stars if I could! It's one of the best restaurants in Parsippany. I'm surprised to see that it has less than five stars. Any negative reviews probably come from someone having an off day and not really expressing what they meant. "The food speaks volume and with staff that can match. Shawn was wonderful especially recommending the bread basket and the queso brisket as the ingredients were fresh in the queso, the brisket rich with flavor and tender. First off all the breadbasket was a meal itself with cinnamon butter as the cornbread was soft and sweet, corn bits inside as the butter sent theflavors on another level and the buttery biscuits were thick and fluffy and each bit was amazing. The pretzel bread was softbut not my go to from the other options. The tomahawk steak was a site as it was juicy and tender, each bit kept me eatingmore to keep that flavor logged in My mind. With the asparagus it was great. Loved this place and definitely worth to go as areward for anything."

"I'm surprised I haven't written a review for this place sooner! It's a lovely café with a cozy atmosphere. The lighting is pleasantly dim, perfect for having deep conversations with friends. Interestingly, despite the large crowd, it doesn't feel overly noisy. You'll find a great mix of grandparents enjoying time with their grandchildren and young couples on dates. This café truly caters to everyone, offering a variety of sweets and drinks for all tastes! If you don't take my word for it, that's perfectly okay—more of this café for me to enjoy!"
