"I regret having to write this review but my experience being what it was, I must. My husband and I came here some time last year and had the most wonderful dining experience. The server was great and the food was spot on.Sadly, such was not the experience we had this time around. I made my reservation on Open Table and requested a corner table. I know not all requests can be accommodated, but when we walked in and told them we had a reservation it fell on deaf ears because the server simply plopped us down at the first table they felt like sitting us at without acknowledging our reservation or request. Then another couple walked in and our server sat them down at the table next to us, (which was a corner table, which was what I had requested , clearly people he knew because they hugged kissed. I even thought maybe they were his relatives, maybe his parents? But he never came back to serve us. The bartender somehow became our server and although the service wasn 't bad overall, the food left A LOT to be desired. It didn 't seem fresh or freshly made. We ordered lobster ravioli from the specials menu only to be told afterwards that they were out, so we ordered the yellowfin tuna tartare. It lacked seasoning and it was bland and underwhelming. We ordered a dozen oysters and they weren 't schucked carefully because there were a lot of small bits of shells in the oysters. We 've eaten plenty of oysters in our time to know that 's not how you serve oysters. Definitely not worth the $30 bucks! I ordered the lobster bisque which was so salty it was inedible. When I told our bartender/server she told me that there had been issues with the soup the day before. So, was this the same soup and they tried improving it from the night before by adding copious amounts of salt? Suffice it to say I sent it back and didn 't order a replacement starter. My husband ordered the sea bass as his entrée and it was okay. Nothing to write home about, just, o-kay. I ordered the soft shell crab, again from the specials menu, and it was far from special. It tasted like it was spoiled. My husband tasted it and agreed. I couldn 't get the bad aftertaste of the spoiled crab out of my mouth, even after getting a second entrée to replace the bad crabs. I got the scallops with the risotto and either the bad crabs ruined my palate for the night or the risotto was spolied too because it didn 't taste like a freshly made risotto. (My dish came out within minutes of ordering it. The scallops were okay, I ate those left most of the risotto. The bartender/server offered us a complimentary dessert which I think falls short of making up for all the bad food. It was almost insulting. Oh, two of our dishes were bad? Have some cake. At the very least, my entrée should 've been comped. I don 't know if we 'll give this place a third go around. We 've been wanting to come for brunch but this experience has given us pause. When the best part of your dining experience is the bread, why go back?Too bad, because we were celebrating our promotions and the dining experience ruined that. Definitely not worth the $150 bill."
