"First the servers didn’t know there was a Mother’s Day menu so we didn’t receive our starters until asking multiple times and the starter came with our meals. One party’s meal didn’t come until halfway thru our meal. The Bottomless Mimosas, Beverages etc advertised was false advertising and pricing should have been adjusted. The menu indicated not only on the location website but also on the placard menu itself that there was bottomless drinks. The manager explained it was against the law in Arlington, however as an Arlington resident I know several restaurants have bottomless drinks with brunches. The manager comp’d a round of mimosas (4) but it was very frustrating when your mom is in town; you want to celebrate and drama gets in the way. We will not return to Chevy’s."

"This place is a disaster! I love Baja Fresh and it was a disappointment to stop there on our travels. Our order was wrong. FOUR times! The girl who rang us up and took the order was rude. We walked in. She looked at us, and then went back to putting together a “to go” order. It looked large. I understand that. But was surprised at her attitude. I waited while she put four orders of chips in bags. and decided, we will use the restroom then since she was so busy. The bathrooms were beyond disgusting. That should have been my red flag to leave. But we were tired and still ordered. When we went back. She was still doing to goes. I actually had to ask her- “ hey do you see me?” That’s how long we waited. She glanced over and said. “I’m busy I’ll be with you in a minute.” Well- it was over five minutes and not till another rush came in standing behind us that she walked over to take our order. She was so rude. Made mistakes on taking in the order. Then once the order came out- it was wrong and I’m glad I checked before we drove off. I had to run back in and have them correct it. I looked for a manager to complain to, but it looked like she was the manager. Oh my heck. I can’t believe anyone would have that kind of person running a shift. Love Baja Fresh, but will NEVER go back to this one. My husband ran multiple restaurants similar to this and he couldn’t believe it. Someone needs to check in on their stores and get rid of some bad eggs."

"Service and food was horrible, I genuinely used to enjoy Chevy’s but it has taken a turn for the worse. Food was over cooked and portions on my fajitas platter were noticeably slim just 3 small pieces of chicken and some scraps of carnitas. The rice was hard as a rock, we had no utensils to eat with our meal with for a good while so we starting using our hands until a manager noticed, our kids taco order was screwed up twice in a row and all the server could say was sorry on multiple occasions. Chevy’s may you rest in peace, because who ever is managing you has brutally killed the delightful experience you once provided. I will never go to a Chevy’s restaurant again."

"We absolutely love visiting our local Chevy's for family dinners when we're not in the mood to cook. Jaime is an exceptional server—truly the best! He's incredibly friendly and always takes great care of us every time we visit the Elk Grove location. "The food was fantastic! Hands down a 10/10. We ordered the guacamole (when it said table side I thought they made it at that table, not the case) and the salsa was complimentary. Both were delicious with warm chips. My husband has the fajitas Tex-mix and I had crab and shrimp enchiladas. The charro beans and rice were great as well as the small shaved cornbread. The view was beautiful of the water. So into the service, our waitress was doing her best, but it was a Saturday evening and quite a crowd. We had a reservation which helped us be seated quickly, but we waited 20+ minutes before our waitress made initial contact. I read the room and placed our food orders with our drink orders so we wouldn?t be waiting again. All in all, the food is so yummy we?ll be back, just maybe during the week when it?s a bit slower."

"Tonight was a special treat for me. It was late into my birthday celebration and my boyfriend and I needed a bite to eat. We stopped by Chevys on Dougals (always a staple for me growing up) and even though it was an hour to being closed, the experience was amazing! Our order was taken by Joe but he was off and the transition was seamless because Alaina took over without a hitch! I asked for an extra side of tortillas for my salsa and within seconds they were delivered fresh and piping hot. And for the cherry on top: Sonya, the manager on duty, came out to us and chat about our experience and then we has a full on conversation on restaurants and life....let me tell you this: this woman cares about her staff and team! She is compassionate but understands business and takes care of the guests the same way she takes care of her team. And at the end of the day, she is one of the main reasons why Chevys on Douglas hasn't shut down and I will continue coming to this specific restaurant for a fun, relaxing and delicious time"

"We visited today for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised by how quickly our order arrived. We tried the Baja fish tacos, which were delicious, although they were fried. The salsa bar offered a wide variety of spicy options to enhance our meals, and it was well-organized and tidy. The salsas tasted very fresh, and it was enjoyable to sample them all. The kid's meal was excellent for young children and came with a juice box and applesauce. The restrooms were impeccably clean. The outdoor dining area would be lovely on a nice day, featuring a beautiful fountain surrounded by plenty of tables. The location is convenient, and the prices are quite reasonable."

"Has been my stop for mageritas while in the DMV. Well no longer. We arrived during happy hour, and were seated in the dinning room. When ordering a magerita we were told we would pay FULL price, and not the happy hour price. Spoke with a manager and hestated this was company's policy. They were willing to loose a 75.00 sale of food, and not give us the happy hour price on thedrinks. No type of managers discretion at all. So disappointing, the next time we travel to the DMV I will not stop at thisstore. They have LOST us as customers. The photos show were we sit while in the restaurant. "This review is for the restaurant located at Vanderbilt Medical Center. I was disappointed to find that they only had chicken or ground beef as options, as their other choices were not available. I ordered a chicken burrito while my husband ordered a naked burrito. It was quite expensive, $20 for just two items. After taking a bite of my burrito, I found a large chicken bone in my mouth. Despite this mishap, the customer service was poor. The staff seemed reluctant to exchange my chicken burrito for ground beef, acting as if it was too much to ask. There was no apology, just blank stares and unprofessional behavior."

"My husband and I visited Brannan's after a day of tours and tastings in the Napa Valley. We were immediately welcomed by the friendly hostess and seated right away since we had reservations. We loved the layout of the restaurant and felt it was clean and inviting. Since we'd been wine-tasting all day, we decided to stick to nonalcoholic drinks. Our waiter was quite obviously not thrilled about this, which was a bit off-putting and uncomfortable. He seemed even less thrilled when we told him we'd be passing on appetizers. We both ordered filet mignon, which was one of the priciest entrees on the menu, and yet we continued to feel that the fact that we passed on wine and appetizers displeased him. Regardless of our discomfort with our waiter, we enjoyed our entrees and thought the steaks were flavored well and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the creme brulee dessert. The food and atmosphere were great, but the waiter's attitude definitely had a negative effect on our experience and our willingness to return in the future."

"the personal was friendly and accommodating. we sat in the back room and although the TV shows the football matches, the sound was fortunate so that we could talk easily. we ordered the Queso-Dip and Sampler tablet as starters. the Queso-Dip was OK-not too sharp because it used green chilis and not Jalapeí±o. I had the steak and shrimp mixer. it was a bit dry and boiled. it came with a butter(sauce that I could pour over them, but I have food allergies and I could not be sure what was in the sose I passed. my wife had the chilaquiles. the recipe was nothing like chilaquiles we had in guatemala. it was terrible. instead of soft tortilla they threw in crispy tortilla strips and there was hardly any ice-cream. the restaurant was clean. mysterious liquid on men's floor, which starts next to the urinal, but flows into the stall proximat to the urinal. the waiting staff was timely and friendly and answered to ask for the preparation of feed and refilled our drinks."

It’s a great neighborhood to explore with friends or a significant other, as there are plenty of bars and shops around, including a Rite Aid and a 99-cent store. Notably, the Wendy Williams Show and Rachel Ray shoot their shows just up the block. The Fashion Institute is just two blocks away, along with Fashion Design High School. During Fashion Week, there are several galleries along 10th Avenue leading to the pier. Overall, this restaurant is fantastic and situated in a vibrant area. Kid-friendliness: Kids tend to love tacos, and there are plenty of basic food options they enjoy, like tacos, burritos, fried chicken, rice, and beans. Parking: While parking is available, it's typically temporary unless you're willing to pay at a meter. If possible, have someone stay in the car while you pick up food during the day. However, there aren't any meter attendants at night, and free parking starts at 6 PM."
