"Was out shopping and stopped in for dinner. Being a diner I was hoping that I could get a Club sandwich or a burger. Neither of those are on the menu. I asked about a burger and the waitress said it was an option but after looking at the menu I decided to go with a chef salad. My husband ordered the fried flounder. The menu is very basic, for a diner, and the atmosphere seems to indicate this is more for the senior crowd. Hubby said flounder was okay but not very flavorful. Waitress was friendly and as attentive as she could be as she was waiting on everyone herself. I only saw someone else as we were getting ready to leave. In response to your reply to my review, John, my one star review was not left because you had no club sandwich on the menu. I stated in my review several reasons why we felt this way about your restaurant. I also left out several things because I felt as though it would be despairing to the clientele that you were serving at the time we were there."

"Just catered my wedding from here. We were on a very tiny budget and this was one if not the cheapest option. We got the turkey dinner that feeds 20. Gave us very good portions and the food was very good. Food was hot and fresh and the rolls melted in yourmouth. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star review is because of how things went in the ordering of the food. I called andplaced the order but I wasn't confident that it was taken down correctly. So I went up there a few days before and spoke with aManager. He confirmed my suspicions by saying someone took down a chicken dinner and stuff (obviously incorrect). They also gotthe wrong pickup time as well. He said that they were waiting for me to come in and pick it up on the day and talk to me. Ithink I should have been called. Regardless the manager was very friendly and corrected this issue. So if you are looking forgood food for an event that won't break the bank come here. I would just confirm the order a day or two before yourevent. Thank you guys for the great food!"

"sourness. server was great, but eating was terrible. my wife commanded the garnel and the grisen; I ordered the red snapper with rice. Both dishes had a very bizarre acidic smell and taste to them; almost like sandwich meat that had gone bad. the rice with the snapper saw and tasted like overcrowded rice-a-roni. the gries were completely tasteless, and had a microshaftd, immediately-cooked texture to them, almost as underboiled instant heel flour. Worse is that the waitress informed us after the return that her food manager and chef both thought the dishes were good and would not do anything to us. the combined total number of dishes up to $50, and they were less than a 99 cent worth...read more"

"This Black-owned restaurant is amazing! The atmosphere feels just like stepping into your grandmother's home, with the wonderful aroma of various spices filling the air. "I normally like this place but today changed my mind tremendously, as I was ordering my food to be made I literally watched the cook wipe his nose and pick the bacon up that I ordered and put it on the grill all with the same hand. Then when I told the lady at the front corner to ask him to wash his hands and throw away the bacon put some gloves on it seemed like everybody had an attitude after that."
