"We noticed that TX is filled with Vietnamese restaurants, and this stands out to us as one of the most flavorful while being very affordable. I would deem this as our new go-to due until something else comes along. I would consider this an all-time high point for Vietnamese food. Vietnamese coffee was very unique, where it was brewed and completed in front of you. Pho was plentiful with the noodles, and broth was delicious. The fried spring rolls were a bit different, it's good, just different in taste. The sticky rice with mango was delicious, but unfortunately, the mango could have been a little bit more ripe. Highly recommended eatery!"

"We used to eat here all the time when they first opened I'm talking 2006 ish and we ate here dozens of times for several years it was great. About 10 years ago we fell out as it simply wasn't good anymore. It's like the chef lost his nerve and there was zero spice... one time we went and the server actually told us they didn't serve it too spicy as too many people complained- that trip marked the beginning of a long hiatus for many years. To clarify- we tried the sushi a few times but there are so many great sushi places around that are leagues ahead of this that it's kind of pointless to go in that direction. 2 months ago in the absence of any decent Thai food we went back... it was pretty good despite the odd choice of them to use paper plates. We got takeout a few weeks later, meh but okay. We got take out again tonight: last time EVER. Thai food should NEVER be bland, this is that. There is zero vibrance, zero spice, zero life... It's boring AF and leftovers will have to be seriously doctored to be passable. It's not low quality or bad it's just like it was cooked by someone who couldn't care less. I honestly don't understand having a restaurant and being okay with letting it fall this far to the ground when once it actually was proper spicy/ salty/ sour/ sweet Thai delicious. So sad. Bye Thai Spices and Sushi... never again."

"The traditional Thai restaurant you’re looking for! WOW, did this Yellow Curry and their Pad Thai ensure I make a return visit. Some restaurants are really weirded out when I say I don’t want meat in my curry. I prefer tofu or just the veggies and broth. However, this tofu was cooked to perfection. A little sautéed exterior really gives the tofu that bite that most people are missing when used in place of chicken. The spice level I chose was medium and it was exactly that. I could have gone hotter but sometimes you never know what you’re getting yourself into at a new spot. Service was also wonderful and attentive. Always ensuring our drinks were full. We even tried the Mango sticky rice and I’m so glad we did. Of course my leftover curry was even better the next day. Thank you!"

"As a younger man I used to go here with my kids when there were not as many Thai places in the area. As Yoong Tong it had good solid food. I love Thai food and try and have it every time I travel to Silicon Valley for work as it is generally outstanding out there (as is much Asian food). I was excited to try this new version of this place, now apparently owned by the kids of the original owners and sporting a fancy new French inspired name. In a word, it was just okay... and pricey. The entrees we had were fine and properly prepared and fairly good portions but at $25 each plate it was expensive. The Tom Kha (I had the one with tofu) was very disappointing and very plain and bland. I judge every Thai place by its Tom Kha Gai, the single best flavor of soup I have had in my life. I love TKG. I adore it. I will have it at EVERY Thai meal I go to if it's on the menu (and it usually is). I will even give this place a second shot and order it again here as perhaps they screwed my bowl up. The soup tasted as if all they did was open a can of coconut milk and heat it up with a few mushrooms and with some tofu. There did not appear to be a single spice or herb or flavor of any kind in the soup. My advice to the new owners is to go back to Mom's recipe. She had a nice TKG."

"I love Thai Winchester! My husband and I visit Thai Winchester nearly every week. 1. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and the servers are kind and helpful. 2. If you go for lunch on a week day, you get a fried veggie crispy roll and a small side salad. I don't think the dressing on the salad is vegan (it looks cream-based), though, but I'm not sure. (I've been there for lunch on a week day only once 3. As far as appetizers go, I've had the fried tofu (it's nothing special it's exactly what it says: fried tofu), summer rolls (good if you love basil and my go-to appetizer, veggie crispy rolls. The rolls are the small, super crispy kind. I love them! 4. I've had most of the vegetarian entrees: LOVE: -cashew nuts LIKE: -kra pow -stir-fried ginger -red curry -green curry -panang curry -pad thai (good, but only if you like a very sweet pad thai) -thai fried rice (I've had this twice. It was amazingly flavorful the first time, but bland the second time) DISLIKE: -pad phed pha (this is a dish with peppercorns, and the peppercorns really take over. Order only if you LOVE peppercorns, because that's all you'll be able to taste) -massaman curry (but that could just be because I'm not into yellow curry I've never had this dish anywhere else This is my favorite restaurant in Winchester, and if you haven't already, I encourage you to visit! NOTE: We've also visited Thai Winchester II (only once), and we did not enjoy it enough to return. The restaurant is smaller and the food wasn't as good. I'd rather make the short drive to the walking mall rather than visit Thai Win II again. It may have just been a bad day for them, though."

"curry puffs: this appetizer was delicious. they offer plucked gurke and swirl. the curry itself is not liquidity and has a maische kartoffel texture. it would be good if they had something dripping for it. they offer 5 pieces. tom yum: the suppe was very overwhelming. the suppe was extremely sour and I had better suppe. a small size can feed 2 people. I would pass on the tom yum. pad kee mao (drunken noodles:) the noodles were delicious and spicy. I would come back for this one. mango paradise: delicious, but too expensive. this dessert was the most expensive thing we ordered. it is in the grunde mango sticky rice with whip cream and ice. the ice is vanilla flavor. the crepe gives him a sushi vibe. Service:Service was very incompatible. the main court came out quickly. dessert came out very slowly. the time for them to grab the scary and to float the card was very long. to go box was fast. seat: inside and outside seat. many seats. parking space: parking space for shared plaza."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, showcasing the freshness typical of Thai cuisine, particularly their Pad Khing Sod. The lunch specials are very affordably priced at $9.25, a rarity among Thai restaurants in the DMV area. I also enjoy the Pad Kra Prao Talay, which has an authentic taste reminiscent of Bangkok. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant itself is impeccably clean. It can be easy to overlook, especially if you don’t pass by the Giant, but once you locate it, I highly recommend visiting for a fantastic dining experience."

"Small place, good for small party. Lots of locals came to order out. Helpful lady waitress had to arrange tables for our party of 5. She came out often to refill our waters and check in. Fast delivery of of food. Best was the pad Thai dish, along withfried rice (spicy fried rice with basil), curry with potatoes had right consistency and flavor. Thai tea with Bubba wasyummy.. BBQ beef is good, but small portions. Had to pay for rice and very small portion. Hot and sour soup only hadcanned mushrooms and not enough flavor. Avoid the glass noodle with seafood, no flavor with too much celery."

"My mom and I went with our church ladies monthly dinner group....so maybe 12 of us total. It was not busy at all as we were there from 5pm to about 7pm. They had one waitress who handled herself well and got every order correct. She welcomed us with a smile and was very accommodating. Unfortunately the food was mediocre at best. It was a bit cold and not quite what I expected from photos and descriptions from menu. Also I feel a bit overpriced, especially the appetizer of chicken satay I ordered. If I was to think about going back I would order the Orange chicken I was eyeing in the first place. I got that appetizer and beef Pad Thai... very underwhelming in flavor and texture. The ambiance and customer service was great but food...not so much. They do Japanese sushi, Thai food combo. Not really my thing."

"My friend and I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant and we were so happy we did! It’s a little small inside, but it felt cozy not cramped. There was pretty classical music in the background which added to the calming atmosphere and my friend and I were able to converse at normal volume. The owner and waitstaff were so kind! They were very friendly and attentive, and but they gave us space and didn’t rush us. The food and drinks were excellent! I had a yummy Thai iced tea which was served in a beautiful tall glass. As an appetizer I had the oriental lettuce wrap and my friend got the garlic ginger dumplings. She loved the dumplings and the dipping sauce it came with. The lettuce wraps were amazing! The meat mixture was super flavorful and had a hint of sweetness. It also came with a sauce that was a little spicy so pairing it together made for a sweet/spicy flavor. For the main course, my friend had the green curry with chicken and she loved it! I had the drunken duck, which was also so so good! The duck was tender but crispy on the outside. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. And the coconut curry sauce was perfect. I could have eaten the whole thing but I wanted to save the leftovers I had so I could taste it again! All in all, we had a wonderful experience here and I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant!"

"This is a fantastic Thai restaurant situated at a great corner (Los Robles Ave and Orange Grove Blvd). I stumbled upon it by chance and I'll definitely be returning. I ordered takeout, and my meal was ready in under 10 minutes. The Pad Woon Sen (stir-fried Thai glass noodles) was truly the highlight; despite being low in calories, it was flavorful and satisfying. The Pad See Ew, like at every other place I’ve tried, was incredible—no surprises there. The Rock Shrimp was exquisite, deep-fried, and paired with a dipping sauce that I hope is preserved for future generations because it's that good. The Sticky Rice was also delightful. I usually order mine without the mango side, but I bet it would be fantastic with it. Overall, I would give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it!"

"I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! It was my first time in Urbana, IL and I decided to give this place a try after reading about it on Reddit. The pictures on Google didn't do it justice, so I took some of my own photos. We ordered the red curry, pad see mao (drunken noodles), and spicy fried rice, all of which were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, and the Thai teas were perfectly balanced and not overly sweet."

"It's always great to be able to choose anything on the menu! We started with the grand tempura which unlike other places we go, included pumpkin and vegan shrimp. Both were amazing additions to the plate. I had a sweet and sour chicken and was excited for a taste I hadn't had in many years. My husband had a green curry with fish. He said the curry was fantastic but the fish protein wasn't a good combination with it. The Thai iced tea was sweet and thankfully didn't taste like coconut, which they sometimes do."

"The food at this restaurant is excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and modern, reminiscent of downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. The owner was kind enough to offer me a complimentary beverage with my takeout order. The restaurant has only been open for a week, but the food is already delicious. I appreciated that they separated my sushi from the hot food in the takeout packaging. I highly recommend this restaurant for takeout service."

"The reason i gave a one-star rating was due to all the sneezing, hacking while laughing, and excessive coughing i heard coming from the kitchen. You can hear the difference between someone who covers a sneeze as opposed to someone sneezing into the open air. It made it impossible to enjoy the food. I regret not canceling my order altogether, but i was on a date and didn't want to seem rude. I brought the sneezing and coughing to the attention of the server and asked if they wear masks in the kitchen. He said no, but they covered their mouths. He walked into the kitchen and said something, and then it got very silent. As we were leaving, the cook came out to the dining area and started picking his nose while looking at us. I will definitely be bringing this to the attention of the health department."

"This is the restaurant I visited many times during my first year of being vegan. It met all my cravings, but more importantly, it's simply an incredible place to dine. Everything is so flavorful, and the textures are fantastic."

"I also asked the waitress if they had gurkensalat, to which she said no. However, when I flipped the menu around, I found it listed as available. I gave this restaurant two stars because there were some decent flavors in the chow mein, but it was nowhere close to what I was hoping for with drunken noodles. I ordered my food to-go, planning to find a nice spot to enjoy it, but I realized they didn't provide any utensils, so I had to go back. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

"After checking online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area."

"I received a wrong order about a week and half ago (I ordered basil fried rice with minced chicken with added broccoli for an extra cost). I got to work and opened my food and noticed it was chicken with broccoli and white rice. I called the restaurant and the lady that picked up said she didn't hear the fried rice part when I ordered. No apology. I asked if they can deliver the right food she said no and to call back anytime I want to come pick up the right order and just tell them my name. It's out of my way so I couldn't go right away. I called to order my food today. A lady picked up and connects me to a guy. He takes my order and tells me to come in 15 minutes. I asked for his name and he said Cinderella and I can hear the people in the background laughing hysterically. I asked if he's trying to be funny and he asks me in I'm discriminating. Horrible place, horrible people. Not the first time for their rude behavior but it will definitely be the last. Who knows what they are doing to the food back there."
