"The tables are quite small and positioned closely together, which creates a noisy ambiance. I found myself occasionally leaning toward my companions to hear them, as another table was just 2 to 3 feet away. I'm a big fan of good bread—the kind that's worth the carbs—and when a restaurant pays attention to quality bread, it bodes well for the meal. This place served really good bread to start. The butter was perfectly soft at room temperature. The octopus was above average but didn’t stand out. My friend enjoyed the bone marrow, while I found the croquettes to be better than what I've had at most places, despite not being a croquettes fan. The sea bass, however, was excellent. My friends seemed pleased with their desserts. The wine selection was interesting; they seemed to have a good variety, but for some reason, my Sauvignon Blanc tasted sweet, which left me perplexed. If you're familiar with wines, you might understand the confusion. I even wondered if I was served the wrong glass. I wrapped up the evening with a 12-year-old Japanese whiskey served over a block of ice. Our waiter was a nice guy who made an effort, though his timing was a bit off at first and he came across as somewhat impatient. Overall, though, he did well. The main reason I can't give this place five stars is that the evening started off on a sour note due to the service; this became the first topic of discussion at our table. For instance, when I arrived, the host at the front desk basically said, "They're over there; just keep walking and you'll find them." When I sat down, my friends also remarked on how dismissive he was when they made their table request. Although the restaurant was busy that evening, it wasn't full, and there were plenty of available tables. I'm looking forward to returning to try the outdoor space. I believe that if management could enhance their service quality, this could become one of the best restaurants in Atlanta at this price point."

"WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DESPICABLE TO SAY THE LEAST!!!I've dined at numerous restaurants across the globe, and my experiences have varied greatly. I've encountered some truly exceptional ones, several that were just average without any standout moments, and unfortunately, a few truly awful ones. One of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had was at the Moxies Dixon Road Restaurant, located at 55 Reading Ct, Etobicoke, Toronto, Canada.A few months ago, I visited this establishment for lunch and specifically requested a quiet area within the restaurant. To my dismay, I was seated there without a server attending to my table for nearly an hour, despite my repeated attempts to get their attention.Even when they finally served my lunch, there was no staff member in sight throughout my meal and after I had finished. After concluding my meal, I even used the restroom and could have left without settling the bill. However, I decided to go to the entrance and pay my bill, almost as if I were in a fast-food joint. A polite young woman working there apologized profusely for the horrendous experience, and I left, thinking it might have been a one-time occurrence.Unfortunately, my optimism was shattered during a recent visit just two days ago, an experience that still leaves me and my guests in disbelief. We commenced our evening with an order of chicken wings, hoping for a delightful evening. As the server was about to place the dish on our table, it slipped, causing a piece to fall on the floor and splattering BBQ sauce on my clothing. To our astonishment, the server merely chuckled at his mishap, dropped the plate without any apology, and walked away. We managed to clean up some of the mess from the spill and sought the assistance of another staff member, requesting to speak with a manager. This is where the nightmare truly began. The manager, who introduced himself as Aizaz Butt, arrived with a single chicken wing on a plate and carelessly dumped it onto our table, displaying a disrespectful attitude that even animals don't deserve.Shocked and appalled, we expressed our belief that the least he could do was offer an apology or replace the contaminated plate. He responded rudely, questioning whether it was merely one piece of chicken that had fallen to the ground. His defensive demeanor, with both hands in his pockets, left us even more stunned. In response, we decided to leave and requested that the receptionist summon the manager. Another staff member, a young man, arrived, also with hands in pockets, and claimed to be aware of the situation. However, he offered no apologies, didn't inquire about our names, and seemed eager to usher us out of the restaurant. We asked for his card and departed, utterly disgusted. The only individual who extended an apology was the young lady at the reception, and it was clear that she was as taken aback as we were by the treatment we received and the manager, Alex Molina's, uncooperative and unwelcoming attitude. This was an absolutely abysmal dining experience, to say the least!"

"Live guitarist Thursday to Sunday with very intimate seating. We had a reservation at the restaurant, but they offered to seat us here if this is what we wanted. It was super cute but the lighting is a little bit overbearing with the blue and red lights to set the vibe. There's also a disco ball which kind of feels out of place. It's great that they offer this option to check out this location. It looks like every couple except for one stayed for their meal here. Their service was friendly and efficient. Also, the menu is the same at both locations. We ordered: Butternut Brie appetizer, beef Wellington, and seafood squid ink fettuccine, bottle of rose for dining in. To go, we ordered the banana cream pie. How we felt about our dishes:5/5 butternut Brie appetizer was flavorful. Too much for two people, but can't wait to reheat it for the next day. This is a must get!5/5 banana cream pie is huge, not overbearingly sweet, and so yummy. It has a thick crust which is lined with chocolate. 3/5 beef Wellington sauce was super flavorful. If there wasn't a sauce, this dish would be a 1/5. The beef appeared to be cooked medium rare, however, with the lighting, it was so hard to see how it was cooked. The cut of meat was fairly tough. The vegetables on the plate were amazing and carried the dish. 4/5 a seafood fettucine had a lot of seafood. Two scallops, two large shrimp, and plenty of clams and mussels. I thought this dish would've been different so when it came out, it was not what I expected. A lot of seafood for this pasta dish. If you want a creamy pasta sauce, this is not the dish for you.Our waitress was super sweet and included a few truffles for us as we were celebrating our anniversary. Those truffles were yummy. This is a great spot for a date (probably too romantic for a first date) or if you just want to listen to some live music while enjoying a meal.I understand the vibe they're creating, but the lighting felt a bit weird. We were directly under the blue lighting, the other side was under the red lighting. This also explains why the photos we took are mainly blue hued. Would I go again? Yes! But to try their short ribs, catch of the day, cocktails, and other dessert. I would not order the same entrees again, but I would def order that appetizer every time!"
