"**Vegetarian Options:** Everything is prepared fresh on-site, so almost any dish can be made vegetarian if requested.
**Kid-Friendliness:** This is a typical family-owned Vietnamese restaurant. Sometimes you'll see kids quietly doing their homework at their own table. My children grew up going to Huong Thao, and now my grandkids are enjoying wholesome, healthy meals there too. As long as kids are well-behaved and not bothering other diners or being a tripping hazard, the restaurant is very family-oriented. They accommodate the needs of small children, and the kids benefit greatly from the attention.
**Parking:** The restaurant is located in a smaller strip mall with plenty of parking available.
**Wheelchair Accessibility:** The sidewalk curb at the entrance is good for wheelchair drop-off, but the handicap access to the curb could use some improvements from the mall owner. Inside Huong Thao, the owner has removed all carpet and enhanced the ramp to the upper seating area. With the bench seats gone, every table is now easily accessible. The building owner didn’t do the restaurant any favors with the bathrooms, but there is enough space for standard-width wheelchairs to enter and exit comfortably.
**Dietary Restrictions:** I have severe food allergies, and the owner is always accommodating and remembers my needs when I arrive. I also have a service dog that alerts me to allergens in food, and she has never alerted while dining here. The owner also keeps track of patrons with dog allergies, seating them away from our table. She always places us against the far wall, providing a buffer from potential allergens, going above and beyond in her efforts. If you communicate clearly and politely, she will take excellent care of you."
