"The woman at the front desk, I’m assuming to be the owner. Is very rude. In short I’m warning you the bad reviews are not rumors they are truthful facts! I sometimes read the bad reviews and think they may be false but they are not when it comes to this place!!! You can read the story of what happened if you’d like but I would not order from here unless you want to deal with a very rude person for a very simple order.I first found this place through a Doordash order and saw it seemed nice and my mother really likes Chinese. The first time my mom put in an order she asked for extra bean sprouts, shrimp, and an egg in her shrimp fried rice she made sure to repeat that she wanted extra shrimp and bean sprouts as it is difficult to find them at some places and she really enjoys them. When I went to pick up the order the woman laughed at me and told me how my mother repeated the order multiple times and how she gave her a headache then goes just kidding as if that makes saying my mother gives her a headache is ok. At this time I just shrugged it off but when I got home the food didn’t have the extra bean sprouts and there were maybe 4 shrimp in the whole thing total. The second time we ordered, maybe 3 days later, my mother made sure to kindly repeat that she wanted extra shrimp and bean sprouts as it was missing the first time and once again when I went to pick it up the lady told me how my mother was a nuisance and gave her a headache then said just kidding again. Well guess what? We get home and one the food tasted old and it was missing the extra bean sprouts and shrimp again as it had like 3 shrimp in the whole thing!! So my mother calls them to kindly explain to the owner the she may want to ensure the the chefs are making the food fresh and adding what was ordered and the lady tells my mother “$15 does not make me any richer or poorer you can take you order somewhere else you are giving me a headache!” So my mom replies “Ma’am I’m not trying to be rude I just noticed that it wasn’t as fresh as the first time and it was missing what we ordered so I thought I should let you know” and the lady replies again “You are giving me a headache do not order from here again!” and hangs up.Back to what I was originally saying about how I found this place through door dash she was rude then too but I had ignored it at the time. I went to pick up the order and the owner was taking an order over phone and a young lady was standing next to her doing nothing so I asked the young lady if my order was ready and she replied that she would go check. As she begins to walk away the owner stops her and says no you will take this order and makes her take three orders over the phone while she (the owner) walks away and vanishes into the back somewhere. 20 minutes later she returns and asks what I want despite the fact that she knew why I was there and stopped the young lady from checking on the order for me. And yes, after this I had to wait another 15 minutes for the order to be finished."

"After accidentally ordering the same dish twice during my college years, I've come to Teriyaki House solely for their Black Pepper Beef Bowl. After about eight years of visiting them semi-annually, I can confidently say that it’s quite good. It originally came on a plate, but then they switched to serving it in a bowl. Nowadays, due to the pandemic, it's only available in a takeout bowl. However, one thing that hasn't changed, regardless of the serving style, is that it's still pretty good. It’s enough for a satisfying meal with leftovers or one hearty meal. Overall, it's pretty good."

"Like many Asian restaurants main moon started out very strong. When the owners were on site the quality was much better and they brought atmosphere to both locations. But alas, w/ food cost gone crazy they started buying cheaper meats and it's so obvious to those of us who've come for years. I know they used to go to Chicago to get 5 different types of rice it was the best. That too is no longer the same. I used to go when broke and just buy rice and be satisfied. No more. Truly a shame, but many restaurants are doing this I'm a chef I know. They still cook vegetables on the crunchy side of al dente they are perfect. I still go, non meat items only. Bring back decent meats. The fact u clean meat doesn't hide quality or lack of it. The atmosphere is quiet if that's what u want. Like a funeral Vegetarian options: Best things on menu are vegetarian and I'm a meat eating savage. Kung po tofu very good. They cook veg perfectly"

"Went one night had an amazing experience and great time n food. Went then 2 nights later and the same staff same time.of night. Same No one inside eating . Ordered the same thing got something totally different even though it was the same thing ordered. Hmmm? I'm loved it the first night. I said maybe give it another try. I loved the spring rolls the first night so maybe get some of those. And so the 3rd time going ... it still was spring rolls ordered the same way and not the same anything came of it ... ? stay consistent please. And the second night was terrible the staff treated us as if they were unhappy about the day... first time great 2nd time no 3rd time no..."

"We are visiting town and wanted a spot for a quick meal near our accommodation. We stumbled upon Teriyaki Time, and wow, what a delightful find! The food is absolutely delicious! I ordered the house combo, which included teriyaki chicken, gyoza, and shrimp served with rice. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the sauce was fantastic! My husband had the spicy chicken, and I loved that it had just the right amount of heat — spicy enough to enjoy without being overwhelming. The customer service was outstanding, definitely a 10/10. Annie was incredibly patient and kind with my 3-year-old and even recommended the dishes! We dined there yesterday, and I'm already craving the teriyaki chicken again, which speaks volumes about how good it is! They also have high chairs available and a friendly staff. "

"The service at this restaurant was awful. The waiter brought out the wrong dish for my mother and instead of apologizing, he insisted that my mother had ordered it incorrectly. His body language was extremely rude when he took the dish back, saying "I swear by God...." Then the owner (I assume) brought out the correct dish for my husband and simply said there is no need for oaths. In addition to the poor food quality, this experience only leads to one conclusion - I will never return to this restaurant."

"I had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The pho was fantastic, and the service was attentive while still maintaining a relaxed vibe. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing me to enjoy a conversation with my family without any distractions. We've definitely found our new favorite spot for pho! The honeydew and ube shakes were also delicious. Additionally, they were very friendly to my 7-year-old, who particularly enjoyed the fish tank."

"I wanted to like this place, the sushi/roll was fine and the tempura was okay as well (nothing special but alright for the price) but I ordered an oyakodon and got something that was totally not that.Oyakodon is one of my favorite rice bowl orders at a Japanese restaurant so I know it is usually a breaded cutlet or katsu sitting on a saucy scrambled egg with onion scallion. They served me a pan-seared boneless chicken thigh with a side of cabbage, carrot and radish and a fried egg on top — no sauce either. I was so confused when I got it that I couldn’t even complain. I thought to myself, maybe this is a different type of oyakodon? But as I was eating I also Googled what an oyakodon is just to confirm and there is NOTHING that looks like what I was served. It honestly did not even taste close to any other oyakodon I’d ever eaten. Truly confused, it felt like they didn’t even know their own menu item and maybe hastily searched what an oyakodon was. It would hVe been alright with me if the meal was flavorful but it just didn’t taste like much else than barely seasoned grilled chicken and veggies. I personally hate food waste so I took 2 bites and packed the rest because from the first strange bite I decided I would just turn it into a fried rice at home.On top of that, the service was pretty lackluster. I’m not asking for much but no one ever refilled our waters despite eating there for at least 30-40 mins (this is a big service industry no-no) and it was difficult to get anyone’s attention at all for even asking for the check. I have experience in both a professional kitchen setting and the food service industry and was honestly disappointed."

"Honestly it is very clear this place is catering to the Asian community. As a non-asian it was a little weird for me but it was worth stopping in and trying it. If you are looking for an authentic Asian dining experience with exotic foods this would be an excellent choice. They have many fresh seafood items that are not traditional American food. I may not go again but I know people who would really enjoy trying it.I ordered the most American dishes there were (beef w/ broccoli and general Tsao). The food was fine. Nothing get get super excited about but it was good.Again, I'd tell people to go here if they want authentic Asian dining experience or want to try exotic food like eel, frog, etc ..."
