"SAVE YOUR MONEY!!! To say this dinner was disappointing, is a positive stretch. We ordered lobster dumplings and chicken egg foo young. It may be my taste buds but I absolutely did not like the dumplings. The egg foo young was awful too; the gravy was not like any I have ever gotten from any other Chinese restaurant and not in a good way. The fried rice, had absolutely no veggies or egg it was sadly plain. The chicken in the egg foo young was obviously junk chicken. It was full of gristle and totally inedible! I have considered feeding the left overs to my dog, but am literally afraid they would choke on these chicken pieces. The waitress was running her tail off, she seemed to be over sat while others were in slow motion, which made her very hard to talk with. I spoke with her about the chicken and showed her the problem. She made an offer to get me another egg foo young patty, which I certainly did not want. There was no other adjustment offered. I will not return ever!"

"The food is generally good and the service fine, but neither really stands out as exceptional for me. I’ve been to Bai Tong many times; we used to live within a mile. My main complaint is that both the food and service are inconsistent. A spicy factor of 3, for example, can be relatively bland one day and absolutely nuclear the next. Recently I emailed the manager about our poor experience with the food and never received a reply. My email was not at all rude or negative in tone, so that was surprising."

"Everything was great. Great food, service, and selection. There was even a Mongolian style grill placed right in the middle of the sushi bar and cooked food fruit/jello section. There is plenty of seating, comfortable, and family-friendly atmosphere. I just don't appreciate being put next to a section where I'm adjacent to your garbage cans. Especially when I see plenty of seating further away from it. Not cool. And I was not using the longer plates unless it's for sushi. A plate is a plate, and the customer should have it their way. The sushi plates hold more and save me time going back and forth. So please incorporate a choice option for any plate in your restaurant for all food sections. "We won't be back. We tried Royal Wok when it first opened and had a bad experience, but decided to give it a try again, assuming it had improved with time and so much more experience. Sadly, that was not the case. We were the only people in the restaurant when we arrived at 6pm on a Friday evening, which was our first red flag. Several additional tables did end up joining in the next hour, but it was never busy like you'd expect on a Friday. Although there was visible steam coming up from the edges of the buffet trays, the food was barely warm. There were small portions in each tray that look like they'd been sitting there for quite a while. The rice and noodles were both dry and crunchy (to the point I actually had to spit them out). Many fried dishes were so pale in color they didn't appear to have been cooked long enough to begin with. When I told the man at the front that the food didn't seem hot he just pointed to the steam from around the trays. I've never done this before but even went as far as asking if they regularly check food temps. No response... My plate sat uneaten. My family choked down some of their food and went up to try other items. No one cleared any plates until we were finished, so we were stacking plates on top of each other to save table space. They had cups of ice cream which was the only positive experience. It was nice and cold!"

"My friend from Bay area came to visit, wanted Thai food, he ate here on his first night and wanted to come back. We ordered Tom ka with chicken, asked for medium but it was mild, had to ask for chilies on the side. It has good flavor, not too salty or too sweet, had sourness to it. Second dish was pad see ewe with chicken, it was on sweet side but not too sweet, tasted good, we paid extra for Chinese broccoli, added some chili to get a good kick. Chicken was tender not tough in both noodle and soup. Service was good."

"Came here for a Sunday lunch, and love the decor I saw when I stepped into the restaurant.I ordered the soup bao (xiao long bao), crispy bottom bao, chicken fried rice, beef flat noodle, and amazing fish. There were six soup baos in one order. The soup bao’s skin was quite thick but there was sufficient soup in the dumpling. The flavor was good. The crispy bottom bao’s skin was very thick. Though the flavor of the meat inside the bao was ok, the skin was dry and thick thus it was difficult to finish even one. The chicken fried rice didn’t have much flavor but the chicken was cooked right. The beef in the beef flat noodle was a little tough, and there was no flavor in the beef. The flat noodle was oily and lacked flavor. The best dish out of the dishes I ordered was the amazing fish. It was fried to perfection, and the spice level was perfect. It was a good dish.Though the food was so-so, my server was thoughtful and friendly. I appreciate the good service."

"Bai Tong Thai Restaurant in Redmond was a fantastic choice for my first Thai food experience! The server was incredibly helpful in navigating the menu, especially for someone with dietary restrictions. appreciated the vegetarian options and the staff's attentiveness to allergies. The crab wantons were a delightful start, and the entrees were equally delicious. I paired my meal with sticky rice, which was a perfect complement to the flavors. "Our family went to visit Washington University at St. Louis in the summer. We found this small restaurant by accident and decided to give it a try. We are from Cleveland and like to sample Chinese food in the big cities. I cook Chinese food well at home and am usually picky about the qualities of Chinese food served in Chinatowns. I have to admit Yummy 17 serves genuine Chinese food! Their dumplings are among the best I have ever had. Great taste, great price, great service! Look forward going there next time in town. One thing I don't understand is why they don't accept tips."

"The food bar was closed due to Covid, but we ordered from the menu, and the service was prompt. Everyone was very friendly. The restaurant was clean and well-decorated. I ordered beef and broccoli, and my only complaint is that the broccoli was a bit cold at the edges of my plate. Other than that, the food was good. Everyone I was with also enjoyed their meals. Overall, we would all dine here again. Don’t be discouraged; give it a try!"

"I have been waiting to try Misako since I moved to Virginia Beach close to 6 months ago. The fact that they have both sushi and ramen drew me towards this place.Location is easy to access, but nothing that really brings you in. It's located in a strip mall off of Shore Drive with lots of parking. Inside, it is anime-themed, with lots of anime decor and memorabilia along with anime playing on the TV. Not my thing, but it was obvious that it is a reason other people frequent this establishment.We came in for a late lunch during the week on a Thursday. We planned ahead to avoid Wednesday because it is posted on their door that they don't offer sushi on Wednesdays. Very unfortunately, they apparently also don't offer sushi whenever the sushi chef leaves for a few hours, which just happened to be when we came in. We weren't told this before being sat, but instead figured it out after NOT being given a sushi menu. When we asked, they let us know that he stepped out for a bit but we could wait an hour if we wanted sushi... this was quite a disappointment for us hence the 3 star review.Let's talk about the more important stuff; food. I ordered the wontons with chili oil, which were fantastic. Very spicy, but served piping hot and filled with flavor. I also got the Tonkotsu Ramen, which was also good. Compared to the places we used to frequent in Hawaii, the toppings weren't very exciting (corn and green onion), but the flavor of the broth was delicious and the pork was tender and flavorful. I would order both again. My friend got the gyoza, miso soup and the fried rice. She liked both starters, but wasn't thrilled by the fried rice.Although the food was flavorful, the lack of knowing what is going to be available will probably steer me away."

"Where do I even begin? I spent $17 on a meal that felt like it was only worth $5. I ordered the large General Tso's chicken, but it arrived cold and lacked any spiciness. The portion size seemed more appropriate for a lunch special rather than a full order. The fried rice was bland and devoid of any ingredients, while the egg roll tasted as if it was pulled directly from the frozen food aisle, which they charged me $2 for. My dish included just four or five pieces of broccoli. Breaking it down, the rice was barely worth $1.60, the broccoli around $0.50, the chicken roughly $3, and the spring roll another $0.50. I certainly won’t be returning. For the same price, I could have enjoyed a steak salad and a potato at Texas Roadhouse instead. I really wish I could give this restaurant zero stars. Even with the ongoing challenges from COVID-19 and increasing prices, I definitely didn’t get my money’s worth today. Many restaurants in Athens need to reevaluate their business practices. If you’re in search of good food, I suggest you head to Peach Pit BBQ around the corner. To make matters worse, I noticed they even charged me a credit card fee on my receipt, despite the fact that I paid in cash. What a scam!"
