"Why 5 stars? Because my long awaited visit was well worth it. I moved to the area about 15 months earlier and bookmarked basically everything within 10 miles that had 4.5 stars or more. Fabulous Pho was one of those places and I've probably considered coming here approximately 217 times since that day. The only reason it took me so long is because I rarely head in that direction for anything. I often head south, which means I end up patronizing plenty of places in the Woodlands, Magnolia, Tomball and Spring. But Conroe, especially this part of Conroe is not usually where I'm hanging out. Unless, of course, I do so solely to come to a fine establishment like this. I was pretty hungry when I arrived and also very torn on if I should go the banh mi route or the noodles route. Why not both? The bread for the banh mi was the softest I have ever had, by far. I basically just ate pork and veggies in between a couple of small pillows. And I very much enjoyed it. In addition, I couldn't resist the urge to order the pan fried rice noodles. I thought I would box some up and take them home for the wife, but they were too delicious to share. The flavor of the fried batter around the noodles was incredibly addicting and unique. I don't think I've ever noticed this dish on a menu before, but maybe I just wasn't looking hard enough. From now on, when I see it, I'm ordering it. And I'll always remember Fabulous Pho for introducing me to this gem of a meal. Lastly, I ordered a tara boba drink. It was a little on the runny side, but still quite delicious. I regret waiting so long to come here and will definitely not wait 15 months for visit #2!"

"Walking around Delhi on a cold snowy day, I was getting hungry and I spotted Tuna III in the center of town. A Japanese sushi restaurant in Delhi! This place wasn't here when I was going to school and I had to travel as far as Binghamton for good Japanese food. Now there are two Asian restaurants in Delhi, the other place is Ming Moon in the Price Chopper Plaza, which serves up Chinese food. I definitely had to stop in at Tuna III for lunch. Enter the place through some hanging plastic curtains similar to the ones used for walk-in coolers) and door. The atmosphere inside is casual, cozy, and unique. The finished wood walls, carpeting, and the Japanese decor gives this place a Japanese/country restaurant feel, very fitting for a small town in the mountains. This narrow space has table seating and a sushi bar in the back. The menu offerings include sushi rolls, sashimi, appetizers, soups, salads, udon, yakitori, tempura, seafood, hibachi cooked in kitchen), teriyaki dishes, and desserts ice cream, mochis, banana frenzy, chocolate lava cake). Lunch specials until 4PM) and dinner specials all day) are offered including bento boxes. Starting at 9:30AM,a breakfast bento box $5.75) is served with eggs and Vietnamese coffee. The prices here are fair, lunch $8-$12) and dinner $11-$18 for most entrees). I could sit anywhere I'd like upon entering. I decided to order the L9: Salmon Teriyaki Lunch Bento Box $9) which included miso soup. The miso soup served very hot in small cup was good, which had a tofu, seaweed, scallions, rice noodle in a soothing miso broth. The bento box had grilled salmon teriyaki, salad, egg fried rice, and California roll. The salmon was very firm, only warm temperature-wise. The iceberg lettuce salad with tomato ginger dressing was crunchy. The California roll was decent which had seastick, avocado, egg, cucumber, sprinkled with roe on the outside. The light fried rice was difficult to eat with the provided chopsticks I should have kept the soup spoon). The food overall was just okay to me, but being in Delhi, it was a nice relaxing Japanese lunch for under $10 before tip. The waiter was friendly and gracious and the service was pretty good. On another note, another customer at the next table had a vehicle breakdown across the street. The waiter gladly offered his AAA card to the customer to call for a tow truck. That's thoughtful customer service! FACEBOOK: [hidden link]"

"**Ordering:** Upon entering, I noticed that customers place their orders using a user-friendly touch screen system. This interface allows for specific requests, including adjustments for food allergies, making the process straightforward and ensuring each order is accurate. I waited about 15 minutes for my food. **Menu:** The most highly recommended dish on Yelp is the Truffle Salmon. For each poke bowl, customers can choose between a purple rice salad, just salad, or a soy purple rice and salad for an additional $1. They also offer an assortment of sides, including musubi, plates, hand rolls, and macarons from SweetAtti. I ordered the **Truffle Salmon Sashimi Poke with purple rice salad for $18.95**. The presentation of this colorful salad bowl was impressive, featuring poke sashimi alongside a seaweed salad and edamame. While it was a solid dish, it didn’t leave a lasting impression. Next, I tried the **Hawaiian Poke Combo**, which included half tuna and half salmon, egg avocado musubi, a spicy blue crab and shrimp hand roll, and a Diet Coke for $31.95 (with an additional $1 for the hand roll). This combo was quite generous—almost too much for one person—and I found it challenging to finish. The egg and avocado musubi stood out, with creamy avocado complemented by a crunchy texture from the almond and bonito flakes. However, the blue crab and shrimp hand roll was lacking in flavor. The Hawaiian poke plate had enjoyable seaweed and fresh fish, but I thought the salad was a bit too salty and sour for my liking. After trying two poke sashimi dishes, I’m left questioning whether the flavors truly justify the consistent price of over $20, including tax. Personally, I favor the mild spicy Hawaiian poke paired with a side of scrambled egg avocado musubi."
