"a solid 4.5 (too bad google didn't change the half-point stars) from many times, but never had the tendency to get in until this time. perhaps the name or menu looked too unconventional for those who are looking for Chinese cuisine, simply not “authentic” like dumpling house or lees seafood. after the visit, I had to admit my inherited prejudices. owned by the two Chin sisters (here the name double chin) who shared their deep passion for Chinese cuisine, they wanted to create something unique, but preserve the identity of the Chinese cuisine. double chin’s menu was simple and many articles found in many Asian fusion restaurants, but their special menu page was what my eye caught. to be honest, it is a daring act to create a fusion menu if it requires china something due to the dominant aromas that cook from Chinese style. So I gave them 5 for taking the daring act. we ordered two recommended items from the special menu, the corn el skillet rice, mixing of calc sausages used in the production of mais under Mexican street vendors and melted cheese with fried rice. I was pleasantly surprised by the refreshing taste from the crisp and taste of fried rice on a chic. the other article was hong kong hot huhn katsu Boluobao-wich, the easiest way to describe this is in the ground chick-fil-a popeyes spicy chicken sandwich on steroids. Covered by the sweet tasting of hong kong boluobao rolls (one of my favorite bake), the deep fried chicken (like the one of chick-fil-A), sits directly between the rolls, oh and there are spicy kimchi at the place of traditional pickles. take a bite of it, the mouth-watering taste of five layers of sweet->spicy->spicy->spicy->sweet through any taste bud in her mouth, until she angry at the second bit. a little hard for sure, but who thought that popeye's spicy chicken sandwich was hard when we swore it? Overall, I was impressed by the innovative menu items and their mute, in the competitive and brutal Chinatown food colosseum to offer a never-tested fusion menu, in which restaurants frequently open and close every few years. a must for those who enjoy great food and especially discover foodie!"
