Our waiter was acting as host, waiter to multiple tables and bartender Food was fine but way overpriced. for fried chicken is hard to justify, and seems like they try to justify with quantity not anything special about the quality. "Very happy with my first visit here! Went for my birthday, the room decor is so lovely and the service is impeccable. The servers went above beyond for my birthday brought me a little cake. The sandwiches were very tasty and the desserts were delicious. I tried the cider instead of champagne and I loved it. The tea was also amazing, but my only knock is that you’re only allowed to try one tea which is a shame because the first one was so good. The tea is served from tea pots so it seems simple to allow patrons to try more than one tea. Maybe that’s something they’ll do in the future!"

"Luke always satisfies. Every time I come to New Orleans this is one of the stops. Full house but I was sat in minutes. Attentive staff (team of 3 servers stopped by throughout night) the p&j oysters on happy hour is legit the move to make. Pâté was bright, flavorful, on the firmer side. Gorgeous Peruvian scallops with citrus and chile. The mussels were my favorite, simple yet critical dish the broth was Chile garlic with thyme, semi sweet and buttery. It comes with fries which I declined (not a fan of filler food) and the bread pudding was rich and decadent, a staple in New Orleans."

"My 1st time eating at this place and it was outside seating which we liked.. However they did not clean off the tables when we 1st got there so there were little tiny bugs crawling around not a big problem... the problem was it took a really really longtime for our order and when we did get the food, it was cold. so therefore any kind of melted cheese was pretty hard and thepotatoes were cold And it might be because we only saw one waitress handling the whole place. It was a Friday mid morning... iwouldn't go back. They get an extra star because their carafe of sparkling wine was decent."

It was a small container of salad with a piece of dry reheated chicken on top. I took the salad home and added some of my own left over taco meat with chopped up bell peppers 100% improvement. "I've visited Lucile's several times over the years, and the quality of food and service has always been impressive. On Easter Sunday, we arrived at 9 AM as a party of two and were seated immediately. However, there was a bit of a wait at the front when we left around 10, so I recommend arriving early! The restaurant is housed in what used to be a spacious home or small church, complete with high ceilings, giving it a cozy atmosphere. I ordered the Eggs Jennifer on a gluten-free English muffin, with hollandaise sauce on the side and added ham. My bill mistakenly listed my dish as the Bennifer with cheese grits, but it was amazing nonetheless, as always! My husband chose the Cajun Breakfast with cheese grits and couldn't stop praising his meal as well. The coffee was excellent, and even though the restaurant was busy, the service remained attentive; my water and coffee cup were never more than half full. Our server, Megan, was fantastic!"

"The ambiance is amazing. Great local artists playing music. The food and coffee was superb. The only problem was the staff. Terrible service. The staff paid more attention to each other than the patrons. Not only myself but several other tables had to flag down servers for the check, drinks, etc. We were also cleaning our own tables because the staff was busy talking amongst themselves. Even when a guest would put their dishes on the bar the staff didn’t seem to notice. I don’t even think I would retrain. I would start over. The staff was completely clueless to common courtesy. It was not busy when we were there so it was disappointing to have such terrible service. The other issues was how sloppy the waitresses held themselves. One was even wearing a light tank top with no bra. Very unprofessional. I will go back for the coffee but will probably get it to go"
