"I ordered the Ginger Ramen through Door Dash. The picture online showed chunks of grilled chicken breast. When it was received, it had shredded chicken. On first thought, I believed it to be an error so I reached out to the store directly. The man that answered the phone said that the photo online is from 5-6 years ago and they no longer prepare it with grilled chicken. My concerns were brushed off as if I just have to deal with it. I let him know that this was my first time ordering from them and I should be able to trust the online photo as a guide to purchase. I was completely disregarded and he ended the call with have a great day and we will see you next time. Are you serious? I can’t even trust your photos or dish descriptions. This was a horrible experience."

"I read some of the reviews and it seems like this restaurant has some service issues. There was a new girl training when i visited this bakery and i hope they are resolving all that. Also I had a to go order so I can't comment on their service in particular. What I can comment on is their grilled cheese sandwich. I raved about it for days. I also bought mini tarts, the filling and crust was splendid however the fruits were a day too old to be on the display."

"I absolutely adore this charming little bakery! The freshly baked goods and friendly staff make it a go-to spot for me whenever I'm in the mood for a treat. They offer a delightful selection of items, including buns, baos, rolls, bread, and cakes. Most of the items, except for the cakes, are priced between $1.50 and $3.00 and are made fresh every day. While there’s plenty of parking available, keep in mind that there are no restrooms or tables inside. You'll find several other shops nearby to explore as well. The variety of pastries is impressive, and every item is well-made. I highly recommend trying the taro and custard buns for a light and sweet bite, and for something savory, don’t miss the ham and cheese bun or the pork baos. The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating! I truly love this place, and I think you will too."

"I was really looking forward to trying this bakery because of their Asian-inspired flavors, but I ended up feeling disappointed. We stopped by after lunch to grab some pastries, and all of them were quite large. Earl Grey Scone ($4.75): This scone has a heavy texture that I didn't enjoy. You can hardly taste the Earl Grey unless you warm it up. The white chocolate doesn't really add sweetness and also tastes better when heated, as it achieves a delightful melted texture. Matcha Croissant ($5.25): This was an improvement over the scone, but it was still pretty average for a croissant. I do appreciate the matcha flavor and the outer crust, so it might have tasted even better if it were warmed up."

"I’ve been here a few times. The coffee is okay, especially when compared to the generally terrible Austin coffee scene. The customer service really, the professionalism is horrendous. Last time I was there was staff openly dramatizing details of their personal life, the kind of stuff you really shouldn’t be talking about openly and loudly in front of customers. Then, today, a staff member was shouting at people that they’re “parked in a fire lane” in what appears, to any objective eye, to be a parking spot without a sign indicating it is a fire line. If you look closely on the pavement there is a very faded “no parking” painted there, but it’s easy to see why customers would miss it. Yet the staff shouts at them as they walk in, in front of the whole place, that they’re parked in a fire lane as if the people that do it are intentionally trying to do so. Why not respectfully and discreetly mention it to them, like a normal human would and knowing the spot is poorly marked, when they get up to the register? Just seems like a place filled with bullying, entitled, angry staff. You better have amazing coffee to get away with that, and Bennu doesn’t."

With our pandemic going on you would think businesses would enforce wearing masks in their store. I have been in therenumerous times where unmasked people come inside the tiny store. I live with children and older adults and I just can?t in goodconscience visit a business who doesn?t take wearing masks seriously. "After chatting with the owner, I learned that the café has been open for about a year. I visited on a weekday afternoon with a fellow dosa enthusiast. They offer a variety of vegetarian and meat options, with the meat sourced responsibly, ensuring it's halal-friendly for Muslim diners. I ordered the Pepper Chicken Dosa (medium spicy) for $8.29, while my friend opted for the Chicken Tikka Dosa (mild), also priced at $8.29. Our dosas came with two chutneys and a small bowl of corma. The owner informed me that if a vegetarian dosa is ordered, it would be served with a small bowl of Sambar instead. The dosas were rolled more like a sandwich wrap than the traditional style I’m used to, but I actually appreciated the change. The Pepper Chicken Dosa had a significant kick, and in hindsight, I wish I had gone for the milder Chicken Tikka Dosa. Normally, I can finish a dosa in one sitting, but I found myself quite full after just half of mine. Overall, considering the quality and price, Hot Breads is definitely a winner. I plan to return to explore more items on their menu. My friend also tried two croissants: one filled with chicken and the other with goat. She enjoyed them but cautioned against heating them too long, as they can get greasy. "faster and friendly service. Bagels are big and come in classic aromen. nothing instagram worthy, just delicious honest eating. Among the favorites are cinnamon crucifixion when I crave something sweet. Jalapeno cheese or bacon chokedar are my delicious go-tos. Bagel bakery also has minis, perfect for office spaces. the snack size bagels are simply large enough to make me dim until lunch and not to nap after that. also due to COVID security protocols, we can no longer get the normal bagels. Previously we cut them into half, but no one loves sharing more and there are always over half bagels at the end of the day. the mini bagels eliminate the drop. we store various aromatized cream cheese in the refrigerator, as the minis just come. for more essential meals are also thun-fish melts, chicken salad sandwiches and pizzas with bagel bases available. I also like her bagels with suckers, smoothies and fruit cups. many parking places that amakara pulled down the street. only wish that they would change their days of closing with the mother-and-pop donut shop on the road. both are closed on Mondays and force me to breakfast or lunch in a chain restaurant."

"I visited this café one early morning to grab two lattes for my family. Despite being the only customers, it took 15 minutes to receive our drinks, and when they finally arrived, they were disappointing—more like bad coffee with a splash of cream rather than proper lattes. "We entered the cafe surprised at the size and their many offerings. I was hungry after our morning walk in the park so I indulged.I ordered their egg salad croissant and a cappuccino and a lavender kombucha. The kombucha was for a later time but I couldn't resist seeing how much I love lavender.My husband ordered the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel and a super green smoothie. Breakfast was delicious. Everything tasted good and the serving size was just the right amount.We took a seat that gave us a full view of the cafe. I love how nicely the place is decorated with live plants everywhere. You can tell they take good care of them.I wish we were asked if this was our first time at the cafe because it would have avoided the confusion.Now, we're clear.Order at the counter, pay and then you'll be given a table number. You can choose your seat and when the food is ready you'll be served.Simple but it wasn't clear when we entered."

"We went on a Saturday late in the morning and there was still great options to pick from. We got an assortment of donuts and pastries! "Local bagel and sandwich shop. I pass by there every day to work. Finally stopped and was happy I did. Large selection of onsite made bagels and baked goods. Plus selection of cream cheeses and deli meats. All can be prepared to order. I had the homemade Buffalo Chicken Salad on a whole wheat bagel. Loved it. Coffee and fountain soda are also available. It was early morning and yet the wait staff was chipper and pleasant. If you are on route 12 in the Chenango Bridge area I recommend you stop for breakfast or lunch. I know I will be going back."

"Dough Hook makes the best vegan doughnuts, and the owner Lupe is happy to do so. They make their vegan doughnuts first, then their regular doughnuts as not to cross contaminate, or mix ingredients. She offers three flavors (and is always trying more), Marionberry Hibiscus, Peanut Butter, a new flavor and my favorite, Chocolate Habanero with sea salt. Get there early, the vegan doughnuts sell out fast! And they’re the same price as regular doughnuts, not the usual vegan upcharge. On occasion they bake vegan Conchas, but I have yet to be lucky enough to catch them on Concha Day. Lupe is so friendly, always smiling, and happy to chat. She even gave me bread baking tips during my last visit. I believe they are also at the Farmer’s Market downtown, and Broadway Coffeehouse now offers Dough Hook baked goods as well It is great to finally find a big, fluffy, vegan doughnut that’s not a gluten free cake doughnut. (Vegan does not equal gluten free, and vice versa)."
