When I contacted Uber, they informed me that he had closed the order and marked it as complete, making it impossible for them to send another driver to retrieve the missing item. He didn’t update the order status to indicate it was incomplete, so Uber had no way to assist.
I was left feeling frustrated and scrambling due to his negligence and lack of accountability. I understand that mistakes happen, but not taking responsibility, speaking down to a customer, and having an attitude about it is unacceptable. As a result, I will never order from Village Bagels again, both as a business and as an individual."
