"We have dined at Saltgrass many times. The experiences have ranged from frustrating to excellent. July 1, turned out to be a training session for the staff. The waiter was good but we had to ask for silverware, napkins, bread, plates for the bread, and straws. We both ordered 6 oz filets, cooked medium, pink center with mushrooms and onions to share , (a larger portion). One with fully loaded baked potato and the other one with broccoli. The filet with potato was perfect. It was a very tender cut. However, the other filet was over cooked, not tender at all. Both filets were covered with the onion/mushroom side, and the broccoli was not cooked. The manager said the staff was new and confirmed by other staff. This manager was very helpful and understanding of the situation, more so the man on previous occasions. We will return to Saltgrass. We know they are capable of an excellent experience."
