"The food here is absolutely exquisite. Everything I've tasted has met my high standards. In fact, this place serves dishes that are even more flavorful than those at the popular Al Aqsa restaurant, which I often visit. Caffe Lanka even makes vegetables taste amazing! The portion sizes for each entree are substantial, and you can really tell the ingredients are fresh and the meat is of exceptional quality. At under $10 per entree, you definitely need to check this place out. I know I'll be coming here regularly, and I'm so glad I discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant."

The initial feedback about their cuisine is encouraging, reflecting genuine care in the preparation of their dishes. Don’t miss the exquisite lamprais, a flavorful meat curry served over rice and baked in a banana leaf. Additionally, their yogurt drink infused with wood apple—a fruit from the citrus family native to South and Southeast Asia—is worth trying. "I hate to get this place a bad review because the first few times I was there the food was excellent but the last time I was there the prices had gone sky high and the food was downright bad. I paid $25 for deviled mutton that was a small portion and the worst deviled dish I have ever had. It was edible but not like any other place in the neighborhood and just not very tasty at all. In addition the staff was clueless. They didn't offer us menus or pay much attention to us at all. We had to ask for everything. I may give it one more try in case they were just having a bad day but I got the impression they had changed hands and I don't expect it to be like it used to be. So sad."
